Steak & egg breakfast sandwich without bread. Basically a delicious omelette. I dig the carmelized onions. If this were a sandwich, it would be kinda large. ???????? I enjoyed it. My friend enjoyed the crispy tacos better. I missed out on taking a bite of the taco to provide you a review but I plan to return to have some tacos. They looked on point. ????????????

This place has the most amazing California burritos. Like it's mouth watering. It's my late night craving, I come here around midnight and there's always a line and lot of times I wait for 20 minutes but it's so worth it.
I don't know if it's the special mayo or the steak that's actually delicious lol or the fries. I think it's the combination of all that that makes it oh so so good.
It's only the second place downtown that I found so far that actually has great burritos. Kind of expensive though, 14 bucks with tax.

L. A. CAFE has their electronic pay system set up to force you to pay a tip, even though there is NO TABLE SERVICE. There is no option to decline paying a tip. This is REAL SHADY business practices. There were only 2 customers ahead of me, but it took 30 minutes to cook eggs and bacon. The food was adequate..

February 2022 - Friday night, around 10pm. There were a few people in line. Ordering was quick and the food took about 15 minutes or so.
Food/Pricing - Lobster Grilled Cheese was not what I expected. It was a bit too oily and cheesy for me, also tasted slightly burnt. I enjoy cheese and seafood very much but this wasn't a good experience.
The Thai Tea though, now that was good!!
Service/Ambiance - The service was okay, nothing special. There are a couple of tables outside.
I'd come back for the Thai Tea and to try another menu item but would skip the Lobster Grilled Cheese!

Fun little take out spot. Everything was fairly tasty. The tater tots were nice and crunchy. And they have fresh jalapeños they can add to any sandwich.

Staff was very ptofessional and polite. Coffee was good and the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich was alright I don't think I would order it again but it's a nice spot to sit outside drink a warm coffee and watch crazy LA happen lol

Love their sandwiches! But there are some homeless outside of the store asking for money or food, which could be scary

One of the best cafe in the downtown with wide range of food .
Anytime there is line but worth the wait . We tried the Vegan burger . It was one of the best ever had in a while .
Hospitality is to the point and good seating for the customers
