I love Hanabi! Ever since I came across this place my boyfriend and I come here whenever I crave sushi which is a lot. They’re located in this little strip mall and that means parking! Always amazing in this part of LA. The interior is cozy, clean and sleek and somehow “our table” is always available when we show up. The vibe is calm and you never feel rushed or overwhelmed. I honestly don’t know how they’re not packed at all times but I honestly prefer how chill it is. Whether you prefer to sit at the sushi bar or a table you will be accommodated. The employees are incredibly kind and patient. The fish is so fresh. The nigiri is always garnished impeccably and the baked salmon roll melts in your mouth. A go to for my cream cheese lovers. Miso soup is only $2 which I never see in LA and the entire menu has affordable prices that are comparable to other sushi spots that have lower quality fish. They have Sapporo pitchers and sake too! All around my fav sushi spot. The prices, quality and atmosphere are top notch. A must try!

The food is 10/10. The staff is 10/10.
I've ordered a la carte as well as the omakase. The omakase was amazing. It was truly a guided tour of different dishes, fishes, and preparations I wouldn't have tried otherwise, but was super happy to have. Delicious. The chef nailed it. I came in in poor spirits, but it was all so satisfying and new that it uplifted my mood. Truly. That's all not even touching on how delicious and different their preparation of unagi is. It's not broiled, it's fried. At first, I thought they messed up. I was deliciously wrong. It might be my favorite way of having unagi. They even remove all of the bones!
This is top two in sushi places in LA.

As much as I might not want to see long lines outside this place. I was compelled to write this review because it really is some the best I’ve had in the area. I’ve had Sugarfish, I’ve had many of the top spots and this is up there with fresh flavor sushi!

The sushi at Hanabi Sushi Bar is insanely good. Salmon, tuna, snapper, all as fresh as can be and expertly handled. I have never before had every bite be so tasty that soy sauce was simple unnecessary. Each piece let the fresh fish be the star while still being a complex treat. Will be returning repeatedly

Litterally the best sushi place in town… fantastic quality of food. I enjoyed the top Omakase; Very inspirational, the chefs are doing different and new things with old transitions. Highly recommend this spot. If your looking for a gem in the rough this is the place. Small quality sushi spot, very impressed with everything about this place.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a higher quality dining experience than Hanabi. They are serving up some of the best sushi in the area. This place is the real deal - fresh, local fish and extremely friendly service. Would come back any time.

Some of the best sushi I've found in LA after 8 years here. I don't find sushi this quality or value often while traveling. Excellent service, nice atmosphere, they have PARKING (important for Ktown), and a lot of fish you don't normally see in one place.
Can't wait to come back and show more people Hanabi Sushi.

I highly recommend you to come Hanabi Sushi is the taste high quality seafood. I order call the premium Chirashi Bowl for $25 so shocking check. I can’t believe no body know that place so happy that experience the sushi and the service was very helpful & professional. Thank you Hanabi
