Cake Monkey is the most inventive bakery around. They have a large assortment of tributes to your favorite childhood baked goods classics (rhymes with "mostess"), each with an exotic or sophisticated twist. They also have their own inventions like a fabulous tangerine cake. And they do some traditional favorites as well, like amazing lemon and pecan bars.

Amazing, unique, beautiful and fun baked goods!! We bought a pie and several other bars and rolls to bring to a dinner party and they were all scrumptious…..However, the overwhelming smell of bleach in the bakery was shocking and disturbing…I’m glad to know the bakery is clean - but when I walk into a bake shop I should smell warm baked goods and meting butter - Not bleach ????

I absolutely love the products at Cake Monkey and try to order there for special occasions. However, for Father's Day, I ordered almost $100 in cakes for the men in our family and EVERY CAKE melted into a puddle before I got home with them. All we did was stop at the grocery store on the way home, and the cakes were ruined. We had no warnings that the cakes needed immediate refrigeration. I called the bakery to inquire and complain but they made no effort to correct or remedy the situation. I don't expect such poor customer service when paying such a huge mark-up for quality products.

I came in just expecting an average experience, since gimmicks like mimicking another product often come out average. But their little Debbie-style oatmeal cookie was one of the most incredible cookie experiences I’ve ever had. I absolutely inhaled it the moment I walked out the door. Needless to say, I’m super excited to go back.

Delicious bakery with really tasty cake sandwiches. I tried the red velvet raspberry cakewich which was excellent, the perfect flavor profile covered in chocolate! I just wish the filling was a little more cream cheese flavored, but I still loved it. I also tried a regular chocolate chip cookie which was a little too crunchy and very very salty, so I would pass on those - however the other baked goods are excellent!

I love this place. It might be my favorite bakery in LA. I've never been disappointed or unhappy with anything I've gotten there. And the staff is always courteous, welcoming and non-judgmental (I get a lot whenever I go there).
I truly cannot recommend it enough.

Recently visited the area and found this gem. Service was on point and they were very attentive despite being busy. Now for the good part, the baked goods, all were on point! My only regret was not getting one of everything (we tried too) we even bought some mini cakes the day before, pop tarts are fuegooooo

Needed to send some gluten free goodies for a friend and i looked high n low for the best gf cakes and this place kept popping up. So i pre ordered online and did a follow up call. 3 mini cakes n a dozen cookies for delivery. Arrived on the day n time stated. Well i was not there but every one in the household loved all the goodies. Especially the chocolate chip cookies! Big hit!! So hard to find good gluten free sweets. Thank you!!

I discovered this amazing place by accident and have quickly found myself as a regular ever since. Their mini cakes are out of this world. I love their coconut the most but following closely behind are the chocolate malt, "standard" (my words) chocolate and some sort of apple cake that are all delicious. The cake itself is moist and flavorful and the icing (or is it frosting?) is amazing. Upon repeat visits I have discovered their savory offerings to be just as rewarding, from sage and cheese crossaints to chorizo and cheese crossaints, I now have a favorite spot for my AM baked good needs. I cant recommend this bakery enough!
