Ok so Ocho is my go to place for my Jamaican food due to the the Jerk chicken being ever so tender, flavorful, smoked and spicy! The peas and rice is put together so well that it is hard to stop eating and the plantains are always soft and sweet. The cabbage is a just right seasoned buttery masterpiece. I never forget to get a ginger drink to wash everything down. The oxtails usually falls off the bone due to being so tender but at my last visit they didn’t do that and I was a bit saddened. There is a lady that’s always there to greet you with a very warm smile. If you like Jamaican food you should give them a try!

Always wonderful AUTHENTIC food. My number 1 fave in Cali. The beef Patties & Mac n cheese are to die for. Rice and peas are great, everything is always so tasty

Let me start by saying I’m from Houston so maybe my taste buds are a lil different but the oxtails with rice and peas was not good at all the oxtails were rubbery and the rice and peas were not good the seasoning was lacking. I suggested she taste Cool Runnings in Houston before I tasted their food. Im more than convinced that they need a lil help . Im sorry I loved the customer service and promptness. The restaurant was clean and nice. All of that was perfect the product is seriously lacking.

The staff is always nice. The food is always AMAZING. I've literally tried almost everything on the menu. My favorite is the oxtails???? And if you're a ginger lover, you have to try the Pineapple Ginger juice.

This is the best Jamaican food experience I've ever had in comparison to their competitors. Great infusion of American soul food options. Tasty selections are authentically prepared by the Jamaican owner with love. Which is the most important part and a huge reason why I support this establishment. Authentic people cooking their authentic food, finally someone is getting it right! Thank you! I highly recommend dining in the restaurant, which is pleasant and smells so good.
There is a television in the dining area and you feel right at home. Also, you can call in your order to save time, which I've also done for my to go order. The staff is super nice and friendly to everyone. You're missing out big time if you haven't tried this place yet! I heard about them through a friend then Googled the location.

This is not Jamaican food. The fat from the oxtail was not removed and the rice was drenched with gravy, making it hard to digest. Also, the festival isn’t like normal festival, expect to bite down hard in a ginger-stuffed roll????.
I would not recommend at all.

First time here, cashier recommended the pepper steak. And its delicious, meat is super tender and good flavor. The mac n cheese is fire. Definitely coming back.

My go 2 spot for delicious authentic carribean cuisine what's on the menu oxtails in a succulent gravy, jerk spicy chicken,curry chicken is excellent and don't skip the curry goat Ohh yeah the beef& chicken patties are scrumptious they also have a fresh blend of fruit punch a must try and a variety of Jamaican sodas!!!
