So disappointed been coming here for years we got here at 5:00pm on a weekend and found out they close the dinning area early now we had to order to go and they don’t give you enough salsa or curtido for your order we had to spend extra on both things it was really bad service I will not be coming back here . We spent 65 dollars on 6 pupusas 2 orders of empanadas and 1 order of plátano frito plus 3 drinks overly priced

Thank you Cindy for accusing my mother of stealing the leaf from the avocado tree. Thank you for accusing my mother in front of the other patrons.My mother and her siblings always go to your restaurant because they love the food there. It was my first time there because my mother suggested your restaurant. But after todays incident I’ll never be going there and I believe you lost my mother as one of your customer. I place an order through the phone they said it would take 30 minutes so I was ok gives me time I get there and my order was still not ready not only that they are charging for curtido and the salsa now that's ridiculous that suppose to come with the pupusas and the prices are insane I pay like $40 for 6 pupusas 2 drinks and the curtido and salsa never going to this place again luckily I found another salvadorean restaurant near my house with decent prices and they don't charge for curtido and salsa I know times are tough but really charging for that. And like everyone said in the other reviews customer service in Los molcajetes is bad they need to work on how to treat their customers better.

Very rude customer service was told to have a seat then another employee yelled across the restaurant saying that I had to wait by the door! Also they started charging for curtido if your order is for to go but if you eat at the restaurant it’s free, before they didn’t do that.

I haven't been here in also two year and the food is still amazing ????. Even thou the rules and the price has changed, there was one waitress that remembers us. Still love this place.

It's good food but very bad customer service. They like to treat their customers very rudely and I've noticed discrimination. They also take forever. I once waited 40 minutes for my order.

I placed a curbside pickup order at 12:45 and it said it would be ready around 2. The email said to call once arrived and that they would bring the order since it’s A CURBSIDE PICKUP. I get there at 2 and called them and they tell me to come inside for my order. I go inside asked for my order and the woman tells me that they’re running behind and that it’ll take them about an hour longer to get my order ready. Are you serious? I left and canceled the order.
Been here before and have dealt with their rude customer service but this is unacceptable. Don’t take online orders if your establishment cannot handle it.
My go to place takes 25 min TOPS to handle my regular order. This place is a joke, avoid at all cost.

I been coming to this restaurant since they opened. My favorite is the yucca frita with fritada. Love the food and excellent customer service.

Best pupuseria in East LA.
I’ve been coming here ever since we moved to East LA.
Please be considerate and remember that this is not a fast food restaurant so your food does take time to come out.
They have additional parking in the lot where El Pollon used to be at.
Highly recommend the empanadas de dulce for dessert and the horchata here. Authentic Salvi flavors.
