Lots of food was out of stock. The brisket was a little on the fatty side for a sandwich. The pulled chicken was good. The corn bread was a little dry, hard to eat without a drink nearby. I ordered banana pudding and the owner forgot to give it to me. The chicken slider price didn't match the menu, I didn't mention it since it was only 25 cents off. This visit was anecdotal, I'll update this after my next visit.

Such a pleasant atmosphere and amazing food! Had ribs and brisket, both were top notch. The jazz piano music was as good as the food!

pet restaurant has one of the best brisket I think I've ever eaten in the entire state. in addition to that, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing the food there is amazing ton of options to choose from and just say overall relaxing satisfied place to go highly recommend

The owners were absolutely incredible to my friends and I today - we were having travel troubles and they let us spend our entire afternoon in the restaurant with nothing but welcoming attitudes and incredible food and drinks. So beyond grateful, plus Joe is an epic piano player! All around such a great place.

The true meaning of "Go for the Food, Stay for the Atmosphere." I Absolutely Love the FOOD! Doesn't really matter what you order, it's Good. My Favorite so far - The Brisket!!! Did I forget to mention, the live music. I believe the live music is every Thursday Friday and Saturday.

We spent 24 days touring the Southwest, and this place was one of the highlights. We arrived on Chef Joe's birthday, enjoyed great BBQ and danced to the sounds of a 3-piece harmonica band that had been together for 22 years. Enjoyed it so much we came back the next 2 days. The second day we mentioned that it was my companion's birthday. "Do you want cake?" asked Shay, who tended bar and served. Sure enough, the 3rd day Shay delivered a huge slab of chocolate cake -- with a side of ice cream. And Joe played a birthday song on the piano. Truly good BBQ and even nicer folks. Try this place. You won't go wrong.

A-mazing! Didn’t have time to take a picture of food because we dove in so fast. Juicy ribs and tender brisket, cheesy Mac and cheese and yummy sweet potato fries. Even our little kids are their fill and were satisfied. Shea and Joe were kind and attentive. Highly recommend, go! We’re out of towners and were so happy with our first stop from the airport!

My date and I enjoyed our dinner and a Suns game with owners Joseph and Vajira! This power couple traveled from Globe AZ to open this delicious hole-in-the-wall BBQ spot. They made us feel like family and they were very attentive and conversational. I had the brisket grilled cheese with sweet potato fries and my company had a sandwich with Pulled-Pork, Brisket, and Coleslaw. The food was very delicious and the BBQ sauces are so full of flavor. They have open-mic Saturdays at 6 if anyone play their desired instrument. The couple is fond of Jazz and have a baby grand in the dining room!

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The owner and his wife were very kind to us, and the food was absolutely top notch. We were treated to a couple of jazz tunes the owner played on the keys, and he invited us to play a little as well (we are both musicians).
The meat was tender and flavorful (we tried just about every kind they had, and brought some home for the kiddos). The corn bread was sweet and moist. The sauces were great too! We will be back!
The owner says they typically have live music on Fridays and Saturdays (we were here on a Wednesday during a Suns game, so it was kinda quiet).

A Solid 4 stars Great Job!
Arizona BBQ is nothing like Texas BBQ. However, this restaurant was pretty decent to its competitors in the Arizona state. The small restaurant even had some live music that was great. Additionally ,the staff was friendly and helpful and recommended a few options to try. I have to say my favorite dish was the Ribs with Sweet BBQ Sauce.
Overall, the food was decent and I would recommend to anyone.
