The food is always great. The fries are well-seasoned with more than just salt. Their chicken is moist and flavorful. There are certain foods that I typically don't care for from other, similar establishments, but Babe's always stands out above them because their food is always enjoyable, no matter what.
The kitchen manager, Stephen, is very accommodating and is a very nice person. What really impressed me about him was that when we first went to the restaurant, it was right before closing, and he was very patient with our questions. He always makes us feel welcome, and it's nice to see a restaurant where staff seems to actually enjoy being there.
When I move away from San Antonio, my biggest regret will be not being able to return to Babe's!

The food us delicious and it's a cool little spot to chill eat a burger and watch some sports or have kids play a few games.

Waited 50 minutes for wings and onion rings. If you are a delivery driver do yourself a favor and DECLINE THAT ORDER.....unless you're being paid by the hour.

Overall the food was very good, me and my family enjoyed the food the chili cheese burger was amazing and I loved although there was a problem with the lady taking orders. I approached her nicely about a milkshake I had ordered and she had a horrible attitude and when I went to go ask about the milkshake she said to wait a few minutes because she’s taking orders but there was literally no rush and she was just at the register. But would recommend:)

Babes is astounding. One of the best burgers in Bexar county. They have a few locations and I have visited most of them but the Fredericksburg location is our usual burger fix. The burgers are always fantastic, the sides are excellent (try the fried pickles) and the atmosphere if you are dining in is great local ice house/burger bar Americana. I'm a personal fan of the mushroom and Swiss with just the bun, the burger the mushrooms and the cheese. The burgers are so good at Babe's you want them with very little toppings so you can truly enjoy the quality burger Babe's will put on your plate!

The food was on time, flavor on fried pickles tasted like cardboard . Burger was cooked well, but left me with a painful stomach ache, and way overpriced! I didn’t know we had to ask for fries because I guess the burger meal doesn’t already come with them, and after paying for drinks. But for what we paid, not worth it .

I've been eating here for over 2 decades. The food has always been consistent. My go to items are the onion rings and the mushroom Swiss burger.
Prices are fair, food always is made to order and comes out hot and full of flavor. Beer and drink selection here is pretty good as well.
The atmosphere is nice, and I've never had any problems with the food or service over the many years I've been dining here.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good burger.
