Soooo, the breakfast is ???? at this Female, Black Owned coffee house in Third Ward Houston, Texas! My daughter got the breakfast croissant and it is AMAZING! Never had garlic butter on a breakfast sandwich, but now I won't be able to eat one without it! Lol, and the bacon came from GOD himself bc it was divine. I had the Lake Charles roll and my favorite part was the boudain. The customer service is A1 as well, made me feel so welcome. Please go support her! We will mosdef be back!

Picked up a Cajun Turkey breakfast croissant and smiled the entire time I ate it. ???? whew, perfect amount of flavor and the Turkey needs to be sold by the pound if it isn’t already. ???????? thank you!

This is a coffee shop that does not allow you to dine in. They will offer you to sit outside on a 10x10 patio in the hot sun without a covering or umbrellas for shade. Forget if it looks like it’s about to rain also. They don’t care, you won’t get inside. They will lie and say inside is closed for renovation but in a few hours, they open up the inside for hookah and nightlife! Imagine that! Also, they’ll say you can email to make a reservation to sit inside but I tried that also and never got a response. I wanted to support my people so bad but this is PURE FOOLISHNESS! I’ll take my money to a better ran company.

This place is a delight. Absolute delight. The staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming. It's unapologetically Black owned, with empowering murals and decor. It's a treasure. The whole vibe is welcoming and homey, even down to the drink and food options. There's something for everyone here -- gluten free, vegetarian, etc. Also, hands-down, the best breakfast sandwiches in the city. The drinks are perfectly brewed with unique and imaginative combinations. And, this place is all about the little touches. My coffee cup had heart stickers on it today. Made my morning. A friendly smile and a heart sticker -- everyone needs this in their morning routine.

We really enjoyed our delicious croissants breakfast sandwiches however the prices on the board didn't reflect the amount charged $10.50 ×2 + $2.00 add turkey + 1 wake up coffee and I ended paying $34.20 so just make sure you get a receipt so that you're consciously aware of exactly what you're being charged and are paying for. However the breakfast croissants was delicious and my mother enjoyed the wake up coffee. I would recommend this restaurant and I would also revisit when I'm not in such a rush.

My favorite coffee shop to go to before work. I always get the iced chamomile tea and it’s perfect everytime. Customer service is always on point & on time. They also have hookah at night which is a nice vibe.

The menu is wonderful, there is literally something on the menu for everyone, including vegans, dairy free options, kid friendly options, and caffeine free options. The food options are phenomenal and the prices are very fair. I cannot wait to return!

Love this gem. Their breakfast sandwiches and pastries are TO DIE FOR. The cajun turkey and the chocolate croissant specifically has my heart. Great coffee, great vibes. My boyfriend and I started coming here last year, and on a morning I was sick and sent him to get our coffee, they were closed. She still made the coffees for us! She truly takes care of her customers! She’s earned my business for as long as I’m in Houston!

We went in for coffee and a pastry. The only people at the restaurant were us and one other couple. We were first in line, and in a bit of a rush.
The servers took almost 15 minutes to make a black coffee, frappacino and a muffin, and served the people after us first.
Unfortunately they have lost a customer.

I had a 48th Birthday on 12-07-2021. And I have been treating myself to a Different Black ???? Owned eatery everyday. This spot has a Great tasting breakfast sandwich..you go up to the side window to order. And the young lady was kind enough to bring it to me outside.
I asked her what would she suggest for the breakfast sandwich and she said the Cajun Turkey with Havarti Cheese. It was very good. I Love the fact that this is Black ???? Owned...keep up the great work and stay strong..❤️????????✊????????????????????
