This place was recommended by a coworker. I gave it a try and was very impressed. The burgers are big and tasty. They were made fresh to order and served quickly. They fries was well seasoned and fresh. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

My husband and I had this for dinner tonight we ordered carry out and it was delicious! We had cheeseburgers, garlic fries and chili/cheese fries. Oh and we also ordered two sodas and they don’t put too much ice and the soda was extremely strong which I loved! Would definitely eat from here again and recommend!

Excellent service very nice and sweet lady helping us. Best burger with grilled jalapenos, I've ever had. The wings were also very good and spicy.

We ate inside. Chicken sandwiches, onion rings, and Cajun fries. The food was tasty. We enjoyed it and told family to stop by while working. The restaurant is not near our home but, if we happen to be nearby in rhe future we would stop in. It was a pleasant surprise. Many people were stopping in for take-out.

We found this place accidentally and when we travel to Houston we make it a point to get these delicious burgers!!! Excellent customer service...avocado burger and hippo special burger... the burgers are so juicy and the buns are different than normal buns... onion rings ????, French fries ????I just can’t say enough about this place just go ????????

The food here was great. The decor is none basically but the food is great. The staff is friendly and iys a bit pricey but it was a treat. I recommend this place.

Hippo Burgers, cannot go wrong here. All of the burgers are good, I haver personally not tried the chicken burgers but my daughter claims they are good. The Mexican style hot dog is good as well. This place is not fancy and is tied in with a gas station but doesn't matter, it is always clean and the burgers are excellent. They also have a drive thru but not sure of a curbside pick up.

This place is an hour away from my house. Totally worth it I tell you . My son found this place ???? ???? omg food is fresh. ???? French fries perfectly crunchy . The burgers big and juicey also fresh . Staff was nice and fast with our order . We will be back .

The fact that I'm getting fresh hot fries is just incredibly satisfying to me. The burger is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and they have lunch specials. The buns are grilled and nice sized. And has sesame seeds on it. Nice touch. Burgers are made to order yet this place still serves them up quickly. I really cannot think of a single reason not to give this place five stars. Napkin dispenser on every table. I love that. Nothing I hate more than a delicious Burger, but not being able to eat it the way I want because I get one napkin with it. This is a messy Burger and they provide for that messiness. I applaud that. Also, despite the name, there are a lot of other things on the menu besides burgers. I really want to try the wings. Definitely highly recommend
