Overall Rating

All these years in Houston and today was the first time we stopped here!! “What took me so long” is all i can say. Dont make that same mistake. Great place to have some breakfast. Very homey inside. The lines may be long but well worth the wait. Once inside you can pick from a variety of meats and or toppings to build your tacos. The quality of the food is excellent. The dining room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pricing is very reasonable too. We will come back.

I have been here twice now. The first time there was no line. The second time there was a line. The line moved an ok speed, but since I ordered a Migas plate it took a while to get my plate.

The ham and egg taco as well as chorizo was good. The bacon was nothing special. The migas did not have cheese, so I did not like them at all. I said cheese, but I guess the lady thought I only meant the tacos.

I felt the tacos were going back as long as you don’t forget to ask for cheese. The sizes are decent and the people seemed friendly. I would not do the migas again.

Disgusting

When I first walked in I really enjoyed the vibe and the decor, especially how the setup of the Assembly line was as well the place gave me this feel that many generations grew up on this. If so I'm sorry that had to suffer.

The pastor was a grease ball, meat chewy and edible at least. The lengua. Whoever cooked that needs to be taught better, tongue needs to be cooked for a great amount of time because it's tough meat but this place undercooked it also flavorless. One bite of that rubber meat went straight to the garbage. The Chicharrón I have never had like that, as it was Just the pork grinds left in some liquid until Its soft. No meat on it.
I thought adding beans would help as I saw them offering that. I know I can find better places in Houston for tacos and avoid this at all cost.

I’ve tried this place out multiple times now and I’ve come to the conclusion the food lacks flavor. I got the meat Chile rellenó today and the Chile lack flavored. Don’t forget to grab some salt and pepper. The beans and rice was on point tho. I wish I could have asked for everything to be packed separately cause my rice and beans got mixed up. The flour tortillas are plain and could use more flavor as well as being bigger. I wish there was a mix of meat/cheese option for the Chile rellenó. The hot sauce available is very good the red is the least hot. The breakfast tacos taste really light like the flour tortilla ain’t there.

Update: Saturday is the worst day to go there’s over a 30 min wait line, not sure if it’s because there isn’t enough ladies to help ppl or if it’s cause ppl ordering more than 10+ tacos.

This is without a doubt, one of my favorite food experiences in Houston. I was recommended to me by local and has a bonus it was within walking distance of my hotel. Every time I've been there there has been a line well out the door that moves fast. It can seem kind of hectic, especially if you don't speak Spanish but they are helpful. I've tried several different tacos and each one of them has been absolutely amazing. And the price, even though it just went up like everything else, is still exceedingly reasonable for downtown adjacent Houston

Brothers Taco house is a great place to get some Mexican food. They have a speedy service where you tell them what you want and they make it right then and there. Thus making your food nice and fresh. The only thing they need is more parking space and seating space. I personally live far from there but it’s worth the drive for some tacos.

Come prepared! Ask for cheese if you want cheese on your tacos! They are so fast pace, I got flustered when I was ordering. Line was long, but moved very quick. Food was delicious and cheap. Tamales were a little cold though.

I heard this place was good so decided to give it a try. I ordered 2 pork tacos, 2 potato & egg & 2 chorizo & egg. When I got home I only had 6 tacos. I called & apparently I only paid for 5 & only got 4. Despite the small mishap, the service was overall good & the food quality excellent.

Great counter taco! There are only a couple of tables here to sit down and eat. They have so much variety of meats. I went during a non busy time and still waited in line with slight rain. I knew I was in the right place because no one budged from the line when it rained. The tacos were meaty and inexpensive .

Solid Taco spot in East Downtown. I like how consistent this place is with flavor, you always know what to expect. The breakfast, chicken chipotle, and mole tacos are awesome. As for the other meat options, they're pretty neutral. Long lines but they move pretty quickly and great prices for the area.

Tacos were ok. Just ok. The tortillas were fresh but got soggy quick. Some of the meats didn’t look too appetizing. There was a huge line which we assumed meant the food was bomb but we quickly realized that was not the case. Maybe we went on a bad day but it was kind of disappointing.
