Visited for lunch this week with my husband and friend. The food was good nice setup right across from the park. The crab cake is delectable. My issue was the service it was the lunch hour and we waited over 45 mins to even get a appetizer! I had to ask for my meal twice. The server was inattentive and not bothered when I told him I was yet to receive even an appetizer. The persons who waited to get seated after us were served, ate and table cleared before we received our entire order. The service was not awful but disappointing the bus boy was a better server that ours???? I know I will not dine here again but loved the crab cakes.

My wife and I had dinner here for the first time. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! We started with the mushroom ravioli, then my wife ordered the shrimp risotto while I ordered the rack of lamb. We finished the night with vanilla creme brulee and pistachio panna cotta. Everything was delicious and we definitely plan on returning!

Did not enjoy the salmon crepe at all. The salmon, cream cheese, and pickled red onion turned out to be a terrible combination. Would not go again.

Open Table reservation for dinner while in Downtown Houston for the Rotary Convention. Wonderful service from Caroline. Steak au Poivre medium rare with frites. Nice bistro atmosphere. Nice menu and wine list. Highly recommend.

Very well located…facing Houston discovery green park. This French brasserie is a great place to discover the real French cuisine. Great choice of typical recipes…Like the escargots, the duck, onion soup or crème brûlée. Prix reasonable and 5 stars service.

My wife and I made a reservation last week for Friday evening. We showed up early and were graciously seated with no issues. Our server Carolina was great. She was professional and very attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious. In particular the mushroom stuffed ravioli and seafood risotto we amazing. Highly recommend if you are in downtown Houston.

Food 10/10
Cleanliness 9/10
Service 3/10

Let me start with an amazing flavor profile in foie gras, perfect sweetness and savory after taste in sauce accompanied foie gras in a fantastic way.

Short rib was delicious as well

Service:
It could be much better, waited 45 minutes to my appetizer to be served.
I totally understand that there is short staff issues but could be offered some complimentary glass of champagne or something to smooth the wait.

Ordered glass of red wine with main course, wine arrived after I ate main course.
A was a bit confused why , because I was the only table in an entire restaurant.
Beside that , server had great knowledge of food and knows how to sell the dishes

I love this place, and I would totally give it a 5 stars review. However it gave me diarrhea on my birthday. After eating some items off of the charcuterie board, my stomach began rumbling and making a fuss. Then I had to sit for 2 hours and try to ignore it. It was not very nice. I must admit, the staff are incredibly kind and our waiter was incredibly attentive and polite. As a main dish, I ordered the risotto aux champignons and it was a bit too greasy and creamy for my taste. The truffle fries are definitely a must-try. The pricing is not too bad, but the best part is definitely the view of Discovery Green! They gave me a birthday crêpe that I had to wait until the next day to eat, but it was delicious.

First time at here for lunch not sure what took me so long. Stopped by for restaurant week menu then I detoured to a couple of my classic favorites.

Started with the French Onion soup. It was different than a traditional recipes. Wasn’t bad just different layers of flavors. I would get it again. The soup was piping hot which is must for me. One great test they passed was putting a really toasted piece of bread in the soup and it did not mush up.

Lunch I had the croque monsieur. It was great, cam out hot and was really toasty on the sides and the béchamel was super rich and creamy in the middle.

My co worker had the restaurant week coq au vin, it was a succulent sauce with veggies and mash.

Excellent lunch to get through a Monday.
