I have been coming to blackjacks almost every Wednesday for about 4 years. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences until today 6/29/2022. Hailey, who they apparently hired 3 weeks ago was incredibly rude and unpleasant in every aspect. No ‘Hello’ but simply “Let me see your ID”. Which is fine I suppose because thats her job, only she began to harass our group throughout the night.
Even though everybody in our party presented ID before we ordered drinks she randomly came to our table 2 hours in to the night and demanded that we present them again. To which nobody objected, but then she began to threatened to take drinks away from people because she had not seen an ID from one person even though it was presented to the other bartender Bree (who is amazing by the way).
When we tried to explain this to her, she angrily tried to defend herself by saying “its my job” and exclaimed not to snatch ID’s from her. We were all taken aback because none of us were being confrontational in any way. She was simply angry for some reason and she took it out on us. By all means go to this bar, its a wonderful place but avoid Hailey if you can. If we are all lucky, she will be gone soon.

Great daily specials on food and drinks. Smoking is allowed at the bar so hallelujah. $10 sirloin and baked potato was cooked perfectly and would run you double inside the city limits. Laid back, friendly place with pool tables and darts.

If you go ask for Penny. She was an amazing waitress. We ordered the appetizer sampler which included fried pickles, fried jalapeños and fried mushroom which was delicious. We also ordered steak and loaded mashed potatoes which was just okay. The steak was overcooked on the outside. They allow smoking inside and we sat directly under the AC which made it windy. Overall I'd probably go back if someone requested it.

The sweet mixed drinks aren't good. If you are into basic beer & well liquor its fine. Now most of the food is Amazing. Highly recommend the black jack burger, ground beef nachos, fried pickles & fried jalapeños.
