R place sports bar & grill just opened up next to petco park. I decided to have lunch here and I was greeting from the moment I walked in and walked out. I enjoyed the vibe, the have there tv's going with all the sports channels and music to listen to in the background. My bartender Kat(katalina) was amazing she made suree I was good with welcoming me in, to my drinks and food I ordered the mango habanero wings with fries. The wings were on point to presentation and taste. This place is welcoming to everyone, and great atmosphere. I can't wait to go back during happy hour or just because. I also met the owners who are awesome and down to earth people. I recommending for anyone who wants to catch a game and have some amazing drinks along with appetizers and good food to come here and hang out. I guarantee you will enjoy it as much as I did. Can't wait to go back.

This place is awesome. It's a great location, the food is so tasty, and the staff were super friendly.
My boyfriend and I stopped in for a.quick lunch and I'm so glad we did! The grilled chicken sandwich was so juicy and flavorful, the chicken tacos were in an amazing sauce, and the rice and beans didn't disappoint. 10/10 experience and I'll definitely return here again.

We went to R Place yesterday after the Padres game and we had such a good time with Ricky the bartender and all of the other patrons. We didn’t eat so I can’t critique the food but the drinks were awesome and we never had to wait. Ricky was so nice to talk to, he’s got such a fun personality. The whole place just gives off a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Highly recommend.

Really great spot next to the stadiums! Server made an excellent recommendation on a local blonde beer. She was super personable and gave excellent service. Chicken tenders were incredible!

Came here before a concert and food was great. Margarita was exceptional. It was very busy with traffic coming from concert goers. I wish the best for this newer business.
