First time visit, had the bread with the butter since the bread is crusty on the outer layer and soft like smooth silk, the butter was a sea salt combination with honey... crazy. also had the giant chorrizo cheesesteak, but it was too salty for my preference but the portion is huge.

Second visit, had bread with butter, wings, burgers with fries. The bread is still... crazy. Wings are like general tso style made, but listen, it is not sweet at all instead of a buffalo taste wings of general tso style, perfect spiciness uhmmm.
Fries are with the aioli sauce which is by far the best I had, fries style are in wedges, when you bite the fries the potatoes comes out and bite you back. The burger are by far THE BEST IN THE PHILLY, can't comment try it yourself.

I can’t get over how good this place was. The restaurant is nearly disguised as another house on the block. The Sriracha Buffalo wings are probably some of the best wings I’ve ever had. The beer selection is unique. We met one of the owners who welcomed us to the neighborhood. This will be our new go- to bar.

Is this a bar or a gourmet restaurant? Yes.

Some of the best food I've had in weeks. The beauty is being the best food and menu within a bar setting. Great beer and wine options. Wish I had tried a cocktail to round out the experience and review.

4 stars because the environment is lacking and sound needs softening. Bad brother could improve from inviting a sister to the decision-makers table every once in a while.

So this is what happened to the old Brigid’s? Well Bad Brother is a worthy successor and formidable gourmet pub! It has a great selection of beer, wine and cider. The owners are gracious and on-site and the vibe is chill, friendly and no pretense!
Oh, and the food is top notch, that’s the most important thing. It’s a changing menu of pub-fair ...ish with a gourmet touch.

Bad Brother is a cozy bar in North Philadelphia with a small menu and big portions. I ordered wings (7) and a pork roll that came with fried wedges and a cup of aioli. The wings are small, which I prefer since they have more flavor than the giant hormone wings other bars serve. Crunchy and juicy. The seeded pork roll was massive, I could only eat half. Seating is available at the bar, indoor, and outdoor. Service is fast and friendly. They frequently check on you and make sure your drink is full. Overall, I enjoyed Bad Brother and would order again.

Do not miss this neighborhood favorite deep in Fairmount. I have walked by it many times without even knowing it was there. To the passerby, this place looks like a easily skipped dive bar but those two do stop in will be rewarded.

Although it was getting chilly, we decided to sit outside and I am glad we did. There isn't much sidewalk space but the foot traffic in this part of the nieghborhoof is light so it works well. This is a great place to spend time at all hours of the evening or night.

We started with their Carangi Rustic bread that comes with this awesome salted honey butter. It's only $5 and is a very amplified version of table bread. I also started with a Caesar Salad (off the kids menu) that would be enough for a meal if you add chicken. The dressing was great and the croutons were perfectly toasted.

For dinner, I decided to go with the Siracha Wing that came with some sort of Cucumber/Dill Ranch. I had read reviews saying they were fried perfectly - crispy of the outside with meat that falls of the bones, I certainly found this to be true. I would recommend these if you are just eating here once. They are a must-try. My friend got the infamous $15 Sausage Sandwich that came with thick cut fries. I only tried a little, but from what I tasted it was unbelievable. For only $15 this is a ton of food.

I am happy Bad Brother survived Covid and I am thrilled to live so close to this place. Their menu appeared to have changed from just a few weeks ago and I am excited to see what they have in store. Our meal cost $57 before tip - which is not cheap but certainly reasonable considering but was dinner in the city. We also go two drinks.

Definitely do yourself a favor and make the trip (struggle to find parking) and try this place. They also do take out, which I hope to try soon. Well done, Bad Brother!

AMAZING chorizo sausage rolls for just $15!! I visited Philly for a long weekend bachelor party, and all 6 of us got a sausage roll from Bad Brothers, and we ALL agreed it was the best decision of our entire trip. I'll definitely be coming back anytime I'm in the area.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Bad Brother. In my opinion, the best restaurant in the Fairmount area. The service is always top notch and friendly. The food is also delicious. The wings are crispy and some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Also, the sausage roll is unique and very tasty. Finally, their beer choice comprises mostly of small craft breweries but they have plenty of delicious choices. Will definitely be back again!
