Convenient, very good diner food. Reasonably priced. I had a Reuben sandwich which was easily enough to feed 2 hungry people. The potato salad was delicious.

This restaurant is suppose to be top 20 in the world. I think not! I had thin sliced ham lunch meat for ham! The coffee was terrible. My toast was cold and hard. My husband had a hamburger and fries. The hamburger tasted frozen
I would not eat here again. Worst meal Iv eaten in New York! Paid $56.00

We got here by pure luck got off on wrong train stop and enjoyed a good dinner. The cheesecake was delicious with different flavor that I had not had before. No Graham crust maybe that's how they do it on new york but it was very tasty.

The Waverly Diner has all of the best diner food,along with continental cuisine, a progressive extensive menu of other types of food that would surprise most,along with a noticeably cozy,classy,casual,fun atmosphere.
Great location too!
It's among my favorites in any restaurant category..

Great, decently priced diner if youre looking for something quick and tasty from a restaurant that doesnt have too much fluff/showmanship. Ordered the club sandwich with turkey.

if you are roaming the city at 5pm on a Sunday you can count on Waverly for a BANGING BURGER, REALLY GOOD COLE SLAW (for someone who doesn’t really like cole slaw), and ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE pancake (from someone who is a pancake aficionado). Left us breathless. Literally amazing

New York prices, but the quality doesn't hold up. Got a burger and potato, but the potato came with just sour cream and butter. No bacon, cheese or chives. The burger was sub-par and we had to wait a while to get our checks and then get our cards back. Typical kind of diner. Too many things on the menu so they don't really seem to have anything that stands out. The waiter seemed in a big hurry and gave our party back the card for the table behind us.
Overall, not bad-bad, but much better places for the money in the area. Could've got a burger at the bar we went to and would probably have been cheaper and just as good.

Always have a great meal here when im in the area. Great food and great service here. I totally recommend this place. It’s a popular spot in the area so expect a little wait time. We waited I believe under ten minutes to be seated which isn’t bad. So come and enjoy their great food!
