Overall it's delicious and cheap. I recommend and I will return frequently.

Ordered the duck 5/5, salt & pepper chicken 5/5, curry chicken 3/5, crispy shrimp (just tempura shrimp 2/5), dumplings in chili sauce 4/5 (almost no filling, but still tasty), cucumber in garlic 5/5, pork chop 3/5 (it's just ordinary pork chop with too much five spice), oysters pancakes 4/5.

Has proper outdoor dining (no enclosure). I appreciate that their rice orders come with pickled mustard and cooked cabbage.

I ordered the fried pork chop over rice and one with noodles. The size of the pork chop was ginormous for the price point, but because it happened to be a hot summer day, one of the porkchop we had for takeout wasn't as fresh as the other order.

After waiting for months for this place to come back alive, I am not disappointed. ????

So good. No frills, cash only. Get a couple of the pork chop appetizers. You'll be so glad you did. Everything was tasty. No decor. Cash only. Cheap and delicious!

They recently reopened after closing for about 6 months and I think they hired new kitchen staff bc the food doesn't taste the same as before....the noodles in the beef noodle soup are no longer the thick white handpulled noodles, the soup base was slighty sour, and the salt & pepper chicken isn't as good as before, it tastes like they diluted the ingredients

What a hidden gem in Chinatown, and in the shadow of that Internet favorite eatery nearby. Excellent, no-frill, Taiwanese (Hokien) food. You wouldn’t want to throw a banquet here, but bring your pals and you’ll be transported to the back alleys in Taipei.

Must try: salt and pepper chicken (Taiwanese style), marinated duck over pickled mustard green and rice.
Skip their oyster omelette, it’s a tad too floury for my liking.
