Was an average diner experience. The food was ok and the service could have been better. The French toast was delicious and topped with slices of bananas as requested. The home fries/hash was ok nothing seasoned. The environment was a bit unkempt and many high chairs blocking the bathroom hall way. The patrons were nice and no-one was rude. The service was lacking in terms of attentiveness although the coffee server came around often. Wish he was our waiter he was very attentive.
I believe overall this was a nice place for a few items we had for breakfast. Service was ok ambiance/upkeep can be better. Not the same as I remember it from many years ago.

I took my family here for a quick day in NY. The service was quick and the food was plentiful (packed plates). The atmosphere was family friendly and my family loved the food. My husband had the Greek Bowl, I highly recommend it.

We went in and was seated. Wasn't crowded. Took another 10 minutes before anyone came and asked if we needed something. Food came quick and was alright. Waiter or no one ask if we needed anything else. Took 20 minutes after we were done to get someone to our table so I asked for check.
I eat there doing the covid and was ok. I know why this happen but I'm not one to put that out w/o evidence but I'm going to say this. I was the only different person in there.

There’s nothing quite like a NYC pastrami sandwich. And this place has a great one.
I needed lunch while waiting on my hotel room next door. The Manhattan diner was convenient and had seating mid afternoon. I’m glad to have come here for a great lunch.

Tipical American dinner.
Service was fast, food was ok, venue is exactly what one can expect.
The pancakes were good, so was the waffle.
Bacon was correctly cooked but a bit thin for my preference.
Prices were different on both menu we got, so I think they should review their card because we even paid the lowest price.
Overal, we had a good time.

When you want a Manhattan diner experience, this is the place. Yes, it is perfectly acceptable diner food to fill the tummy and hang out around the table with friends or family. I had an omlette, hubby a veggie wrap. Service was courteous and fast on a Sunday morning. But what I really liked was the interior design - Mid-century Modern. The art work on the walls and the tiles were worth closer examination. In all a fun Manhattan morning experience! 4 stars because, after all, this is not fine dining, but who cares? Sometimes you just want coffee and food to fill your tummy. Reasonably-priced too.

As a vegan its important that diners have options for me. They really listen and don't use butter when they're cooking my food. Also their veggie burger is delicious!
