I have been dining at Gracee Mews Diner since I was 4. Every time, the service is consistently wonderful and food delectable. You can’t go wrong here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. DELICIOUS!????

Overpriced diner tasteless food. My husband had dried out brisket and I had a horrible burger. They also charge a credit card processing fee. I used to like this restaurant but since they redecorated, it is not the same. Seemed to be clean and service was good. Won't go back.

Old people like to eat there. They have breakfast on the menu. They can move fast as a bird. They can really whip up a meal. Old folks read the newspaper there. I heard it's a great place to read. They serve their bacon crispy.

Great service awesome food seems like it’s taking our favorite diner spot away from Green kitchen especially after we read the health department issues green kitchen have been having. Solid club sandwich with onion rings.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Very impressed with the great service, wonderful coffee, fresh fruit and an excellent omelet. It looks like an average diner but the food is far from average, it's great. You can't go wrong here. 5 Stars!

This is the best diner ever!!! If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Our first time here was a few months ago (after their renovation reopening). My fiance and I have been back almost every single week since then. We usually have the same waiters and they are all so friendly and welcoming. The hostesses also always seat us at "our" booth if it is available. The manager always stops by to check in and make sure everything is good. The food is delicious and very high quality. They also have a rotating specials menu. Everything is very clean and they have a bunch of TVs if you want to watch a game (they even had premier league on a recent Sunday). Also, we often come for dinner -- which is just as delicious as their brunch!

This place is AWESOME. Food is delicious. Staff are super friendly. Seating is comfortable. Atmosphere is great.
Top picks for me:
-Romanian Steak (well worth the price)
-Pancakes (incredible)
Did I mention that the staff here are fantastic? Outgoing. Attentive. Yay!!

Gracie Mews is back at its original location after extensive remodeling and renovations at
1550 1st Avenue New York City ( on the corner of 1st Ave. and. 81st St). They have great food and a nicely stocked bar, the prices are fair for NYC. Our waiter was nice and helpful. The place is spotless and they have a friendly staff. I usually order one of their excellent cheeseburgers but its was early so I had eggs, hash browns and corned beef hash. It was so good! My sister had chilaquiles that she said was quite good and my brother in law tore into his cheeseburger and chips without a morsel left on this plate! So please come try out our beloved neighborhood cafe Gracie Mews!
