Very nice place in the Highlane zone. Highly recommend it because of the friendly staff, tasty food and great atmosphere. We ordered the burguers and Mac and cheese, delicious.

The Empire Diner offers you great breakfast! Probably the best pancakes I ever ate. The staff is very friendly, open for small talk and has a smile in their face! Also the waiting time was very short for ordering until the meal arrived and of course for paying. Everything was clean and I felt very nice taken cared of. Fully recommended :) With this pancakes you guys made my day :)

Interesting place, nicely located with good look and menu. Dishes and drinks are interesting so i guess you always find something for yourself . Despite a few waiters working there the wait time for your food is long. Portions are not large so if you like a full plate of goodies you won't get it. It is still worth to try. Prices are like in NYC $10 for a beer and $22 for a burger but, what was disappointing that the dish " fish and chips" comes with french fries not chips. Fish was good dough.

i ordered their “empire special blend” burger and fries and everything came out delicious. out of all the burgers i’ve tried so far in the city, this is definitely one of my favorites. the burger came with two thick patties with hot melted cheese packed full of flavor and savory juiciness. their aioli was also extremely delicious and added complexity and depth to the flavor palette. their herb fries were phenomenal and had a great potato to fry ratio— they were also seasoned with herbs that enhanced the flavors beyond your average fries. all in all i’d recommend giving this place a try but specifically if you’re a burger person, i’d order the burger.

My food was pretty ok: lobster BLT. And kids enjoyed their hot chocolate bombs. But another member of our party had a terrible experience with waiter, so much that it ruined the meal. Not a diner.

It was my first time to dine at this Chelsea landmark featured in Home Alone 2 and Men In Black 2. The Empire Special Blend Burger combo was delicious.

So so so very NY. Or, so so so very west Chelsea. I go to diners for fun and this isn’t exactly a diner per se in terms of aesthetics nor quality. Delicious brunch fare and beautiful land marked location. Seriously such a treat to be there and looking to go back!
