I've just been here once, but I am so impressed as a result of my first visit. Basically, you can construct a bowl from a base, protein, and toppings. Rice and grains, legumes, chicken, hummus, stewed tomatoes, on and on and on. The beauty is that you retain the power to construct it the way you want it, simple, or complex. I've been doing this for years at home but I dont have a kitchen counter with 60 items ready to serve. Reasonably priced, especially for NYC. Try it.

Filled like 60% of the bowl. What a joke. First time eating here after a friend referred me. Got the app because I was excited to make this a new go to spot for lunch and like to order a head. The 2 stars was solely for taste. If you don’t plan to fill the bowl get a smaller container. Just a disheartening first and last purchase.

Got a chicken bowl and the food was amazing. the workers on the other hand couldn't be bothered. when I asked how much extra a scoop of rice would be the girl replied "idk, I don't work register". so I asked, "well can you ask them? I just need to know if it'll be like $1 or like $3 extra". she just blankly stared at me and then walked away...didn't think it was that hard of a request....

Amazing! Cava is in a league of its own. The falafel is amazing! Very flavorful.

Food is supper yummy and fresh with many choices. Small portion of proteins. Gets hectic during lunch hours. I wish they were a little more organized.

I ordered the grilled chicken Greek pita l wrap and when I saw the cashier use her hands to grab the lettuce it bothered me as I know those gloves were not clean and was used to take cash and touch the register. She could have used the tongs. I tried to be okay with it but it bothered me as we’re still in a pandemic so I told them I was uncomfortable with the process and how it was prepared and if they can make me another one. When making my second pita wrap, another worker rushed it with an attitude, she still used her hands to pick the lettuce and when I told her I didn’t like it she gave more of an attitude. When she finished the wrap, she then tossed the bag to me as if I was not a paying customer or a human being. I need to say that this level of service is not ok and I think management needs to properly train their team re: customer service and hygiene.

I am so aggravated with this vendor. 98% of the time I order from Cava there is always a mess up. Always something missing and the portion of meat is always off!!! Why is that? Today I ordered a Blueberry Lavender drink, build your own Pita and Pita chips.
Guess what? No Pita chips and basically no meat in my Pita barely anything. Just a drenched Pita bread with lots of condiments and few strands of lettuce/onions and I guess you can say a tablespoon of diced chicken. Than my drink cup just about half empty delivery guy says some spilled. Which I swear looks like someone drank from it..
Why isn't my drink taped and properly packaged? With the price I paid it's just not worth it. Why is it so hard to pack a 3 item order and still cheat them out of the base of the whole Pita the PROTEIN. Management and employees need to seriously get it together. Truly ripping people off. Disgraceful.

Ordered food via online for pick up, grabbed it and when I sat to eat realized that they filled my bowl 60% of the way they typically do, and while I ordered 2 of the few toppings I enjoy, only got 1... Not certain why I paid $13 dollars for a bowl here when the food truck my friend was at charged $8 and got double the portion. This was incredibly disappointing to say the least. I paid $13 for half a bowl. It's always based on which star student you get that prepares your order whether you'll get a good or bad one.

Love the salads from here. Super fresh ingredients and has great choices. Their mobile app is very convenient to order. Falafel here is crispy and not too oily. They have excellent selection of sides as well.

Nice place to have a salad with twist. Love their dips. I always get three dips with whichever salad I order. Braised lamb is really good. I like it how we can customize. I never fail to order without pita chips,love it.The line gets crazy so I always order online and go pick up. It saves my time.
