Emerging from the revolving doors, I immediately noticed how clean the diner was! Covid-19 precautions were taken by requiring to show proof of vaccination to the host before being seated. There wasn’t a wait for my table and the waitress swiftly took the order. The food wasn’t anything phenomenal, yet was certainly very flavorful and the presentation was aesthetically pleasing. If ever in the city, this is a wonderful place to sit comfortably to enjoy a filling meal. I hope to return to try some of their more interesting takes of food favorites.

1st time having breakfast in New York and we'll say I was utterly disappointed in the service I was given at the restaurant. The Italian sausage was utterly cold and the eggs were completely running. Not once did the Server even come to check up On me or even brought water to my table. I had no choice but to eat what I was given since I could not get the server's attention to get the food fixed

We arrived just before 11 am on a Saturday, as they were about to close the breakfast menu. We were expecting 7 people but only 3 had arrived. A recipe for disaster in NYC. However, they were very accommodating of everything. The host was able to sit us at the bar for a couple of minutes until our table was ready and assured us we could get breakfast if we chose to stay. She also informed us that in around 20 min they would start serving the lunch menu. Everyone got what they wanted. Service by Afaf was friendly and competent.
I had the blueberry pancakes and chocolate milkshake. Both were good. The best dishes on our table were the burguer deluxe, the super sized hot dog, and the waffle sandwich (the last two are depicted). Freshly pressed orange juice was delicious. Coffee and cappuccino could be better.
Brunch came down to about 40 dollars per person.

This was a lovely place for dinner right off of Times Square. The hostess was truly delightful: personable, kind, and efficient. In spite of not having a reservation on a Saturday night, they were able to seat our party of three in under 10 minutes.

The vibe is cozy and retro. The booths and mirrored walls give a very diner feel.

The food was delicious. The waffle pastrami grilled cheese hit the spot and the fries were crispy. However, the prices were quite high (given that it's right off Time Square, this isn't surpising). If you're prepared to spend $20-30 a meal, this place is a sweet spot for dinner.

Bad experience. Went for breakfast today. The server was great. Super attentive. The atmosphere was great. We thought our food was taking a while but we were enjoying the day. And when our food came out it was awful. Looking at the picture it looks great but then when we started to eat my ham was cold like it came out of the fridge. My eggs were cold and settled. The toast was room temp not warm. They comped us for our coffees/juices and we had to leave due to time. But won’t be going back the next time we are in town.

Wonderful service, large portions, and right there in Times Square. I enjoyed the bacon / egg/ cheese bagel sandwich and also the Maine Blueberry pancakes. Brace yourself....those pancakes are massive.

Great food and excellent service a stone's throw from Times Square. Prepare to wait at busy hours but do what I did and come here mid afternoon and have the place to yourself! I had the cod tacos and they were great. Unusual trimmings and hearty lunch fare. You might run into a celebrity here. Enjoy this NYC highlight.

After a walk in Central Park we called in at the Brooklyn diner for lunch. All our meals were good, but the cream of the crop was definitely the waffle grilled cheese and pastrami. The pastrami was the best we have ever tasted, deliciously moist and tender and the fries were fresh crisp and delightful. It was $92 for 3 meals and drinks. Well worth it I highly recommend.

We were visiting NY for a quick Mother, Daughters and Nephew trip.. Had to visit Times Square! Decided on here b/c of proximity and We are so glad we did! Everyone enjoyed their food, with leftovers. Price points are affordable, customer service was on point, busy atmosphere but not LOUD. Family friendly, yet would be good for a date or Friends night.

I have to say, the food and service was fantastic. Our waiter took genuine interest in our experience and the entire family had a great time. My only complaint is the food prices, which are much too high for some of the items (like the pancakes and other breakfast items). However, I do understand that this is right off Times Squate and they must reflect the price of living in their menu items. Overall, I would recommend trying this place for some great food as long as you’re willing to pay for it.
