The chicken was dry and not much flavor. It seems like the pieces have been fried a while ago before serving. The mac and cheese is good.

Best mac & cheese I’ve had since leaving the south. It’s so good and surprisingly good prices. The sweet tea was perfect!!!

Definitely some of the best fried chicken you can get in NYC. I’m from south, this scratches that itch that so many chicken places up here can’t. Extremely satisfying, crunchy, and juicy. The sauces and drinks are made in-house and are very good. I like the Buffalo sauce a lot.

This place is sooo good. I wanted #friedchicken and that certainly what I got. The chicken is so juicy and flavorful it’s amazing and the price is definitely affordable.

Great fried chicken at a very affordable price, with fast service! The chicken is nice and crispy on the outside, and the meat is tender and juicy - exactly what you’d hope for. The flavor from the spice is solid.

I’m always on the hunt for delicious chicken sandwiches and Bobwhite Counter is definitely a go to spot. I must have tried 3 different sandwiches, all of this sides and their delicious tenders and I still keep coming back for more. That spicy chicken sandwich is pretty damn good. What makes it even better is the pricing. Quality food at fast food prices. And if you are swinging by to grab your food, the customer service is on point.

Pretty tasty fried chicken sandwich. The store is conveniently located next to a beer bar so you can pair your sandwich with a nice beer!

I’m posting 5 stars because this restaurant has long been a favorite. Your food is delicious, Alexis is a great server, and you’re always patient and attentive when we visit. Today, however, was a disaster. I ordered lunch for my colleagues on your app early in the morning and was pleased to see I could schedule a delivery time. When the food was 20 minutes late, I called to check and was told that you were waiting on an Uber driver to pick it up. I came to get it myself, and asked for a call next time if it would be late. Your server had no patience for my request and said she had no control over it and walked away. When I got back to work I realized my sandwich order was spicy chicken instead of buffalo ????. I walked back to swap it out on the remaining time from lunch. The server told me that you all had a big catering order and my sandwich must have gotten mixed up in that. I don’t need your excuses, I need you to be the reliable, dependable place you were before Covid. I’m posting a picture of the sandwich I received. Is this the food you serve catering orders? It falls short of what I’m used to from you all. Please do better.

It is rare that you go to a restaurant and somehow it tastes like someone's great grand ma came down from heaven and seasoned the food just right only for you.
Let me tell you.. Bob's chicken is the real deal! Crunchy, flavorful, with the right hint of spice but not overwhelming. Mac and cheese is soo creamy and savory and know that you'll regret not getting that flaky biscuit! ????????????
I may live in Jersey but I will be back! Count on it.
