We celebrated my husband's milestone birthday at Bobby Van's Grill on W. 50th Street and it was a wonderful event. The restaurant manager and staff were so gracious, attentive and accommodating to every detail and request for our guests. In the previous weeks in planning this event with the coordinator, all my questions were answered and helpful suggestions were offered where needed.
We've been going to the restaurant for years and were happy to invite our friends to celebrate with us. Thank you to the BV Team for taking such good care. We can't wait to go back and do it again!

Excellent food and service. Dimly lit, not overcrowded, a bit pricey but hey, it’s Manhattan, not Outback. Company get-together for a departing friend. Would come again.

This was our first time at Van's and it was just ok. The waiter was attentive and the place was fine, but not that notable. With as many good steak houses in that area, I would think that all of them would be exceptional. Bobby Van's was just fine.

Had dinner few nights ago with my buddy. Arrived around 9pm even though i was late for my reservation the host gaby was very kind and accommodating. Ordered steak medium that came out medium rare and the server returned it back. Manager Nella approached us apologizing for the steak not been cooked to the right temperature and when the steak came back out she checked on us right away to make sure this time the steak was cooked just to my liking and to make sure my pal enjoyed his food as well. He thoroughly enjoyed his Chilean Seabass. The food was good for New York but I am coming back mainly for the hospitality I received

I would like to start with the service which is immaculate, our server was very friendly, engaging. The steak was tender ; cooked to a perfect medium rare . Even the sides was seasoned well. The thin slices of garlic on the broccoli was incredible. I am a big fan of tiramisu and it was so delicious. I made sure I saved room for dessert. It was a special occasion and we felt welcomed throughout our dining experience .I would definitely recommend.

Paid $500 for a meal for4 people ( 4 mains and a bottle of wine ) left $50 tip came over asking for $100 + tip saying your waiter doesn’t get paid a wage and is upset tried to intimidatei with several around the table to get more money. Quality service and food but not paying or getting bullied into paying a tip. It’s a choice to tip.

Entrance is on Wesr 50th St. Bobby Van's combines a good East Coast steak place with a retro bar offering a robust cocktail menu. The steaks are dry aged and prepared to perfection. We really enjoyed our business dinner here

This place was amazing and it being my first time at a steak house so I had to see what they were working with so I went for a juicy burger!!!! It was thick, medium rare and delicious!!! We had two waiters tending to us and dealing with a table of 25 men they did a wonderful job dealing with us and our shenanigans im sure we will be invited for sure next year!!! I may raise the "stakes" and try a salad next time!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!!

Lovely place. I spent my thanksgiving dinner. The menu has been delicious. Staff friendly.
I recommend to make a reservation with the app open table. It works.
