BLVD is a beautifully furnished Sunday brunch venue with carefully designed cocktails. The DJ nostalgically spins, but will switch to appease the audience. After a few drinks, you'll forget the wait. Perfect for bands of friends who love to let go. Menu must-haves: fried chicken, blueberry pancakes and local beer.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Stuff here is very attentive. They can also give best advice on the food. Totally enjoyed my chicken and pancakes. I am lucky to love nearby, will definitely come back!

DO NOT SKIP THIS ESTABLISHMENT! The food is amazing and the service is top notch! Love Love Love! Came from Out of town and a Google search for Black owned restaurants brought me here. I am so glad it did! Highly recommended ????????

Sunday Funda! Brunch was a blast here! Even without a reservation we were seated rather quickly and our server was awesome! The food and libation were great! The DJ was spinning the perfect mix of old and new music! The overall vibe was perfect!

Visited while traveling to NY. The hosts were awesome. The music and vibe during Saturday brunch was awesome. I loved seeing the house full of beautiful black Harlem trotters. Our waiter was awesome! We were a table of 5 and he got all our orders right without writing a thing down! The drinks were tasty. The food for most part awesome...the catfish on the catfish po-boy lacked any seasoning though. But I overall enjoyed my food and visit so 5 stars. When in Harlem...you must go to BLVD Bistro!

The food was absolutely delicious! Everyone that I was with throughly enjoyed their meals. Definitely would recommend! I had the fried chicken dinner. I don't eat potato salad (which comes with the meal) so had to add an extra side since there are no substitutions. The Moonshine is also delicious if you're looking for a cocktail.

Food was just okay. I was expecting better based on reviews but I was left disappointed.

Overall - both the Chicken Biscuit sandwich, and Biscuits and Sausage Gravy lacked serious flavor. How does a self proclaimed soul food spot lack flavor? Crazy.

Chicken Biscuits were just plain. There was a sauce put on them that helped but it was an extremely light handed amount of sauce.

Biscuits and Sausage Gravy - let me begin with saying there is essentially no sausage in this gravy. You’re getting extremely thin gravy that is lacking flavor and sausage.

Would possibly try again but I’ve had more flavorful soul food at a good diner.

Yesterday, a friend and I had reservations for brunch at 1 pm, and the restaurant was already packed. Good music and atmosphere, but the wait for our orders to be taken and for the food to arrive was a bit long, but it was worth it. The fried chicken and pancakes were delicious.

Great Great vibe! Loved the DJ!!! Food was decent. Mac n cheese was too salty, the catfish lacked flavor but them greens was hitting! The biscuits were good too. I'd def return

We're in the neighborhood for Apollo Theater: Will return.

Warm decor - lots wood and bricks.
Good and friendly service - I think one of the waiting staff called me mom - hugs hugs.
Yummy food.

- Shrimp grits
- chicken dinner - good too.
- Nina Simone - yummy
- Mystic Andes Malbec - good

I walked up from the Library (at 42nd Street), through Central Park, with a few wrong turns and closed road. By the time I got to the restaurant, I felt that I could eat a whole pig. The shrimp dish looks small but the large shrimps are succulent and filling. We added the chicken wings as an afterthought, is average (perhaps we're too full to taste...).

Their bathroom is cool

FYI: Yelp has the same address as their bill which is at 2149 Frederick Douglass Blvd., but TripAdvisor here has it at 239 Lenox Blvd., did it move? The restaurant sits on a corner of Frederick Douglass Blvd and 116th Street.
