Aesthetically pleasing but definitely not worth the price and the quality of the food was horrible. Definitely do not come here for brunch. Eggs were over cooked, coffee were bland, toast had no butter and nothing we had was worth it. The staff was friendly and place looked nice, but that was the only plus side to our experience. For the price they charge per dish, there are definitely so many other better options!

I am quite excited to finally be writing about Blue Ribbon. I have a weak spot for Japanese cuisine, and the Ribbon knew just how to rub it. Fantastic drinks, unparalleled kindness of the staff, and obviously some of the best sushi you will have in New York. The restaurant has an great decor, with a nice sphere and an efficient layout. One of those place you have to have eaten at when coming to SOHO, though you definitely need a reference, you’d walk right by this pearl.

So - I went here circa 2017 and have great memories of a good meal. I only recently returned and was disappointed. The scallop skewers were incredible, but everything else I had was mediocre. Well, actually the spicy scallop roll was good. The sushi was just ok and not good enough to justify the price. Quality grade sushi but when it was served to me it felt like it had been sitting out for a bit. There are just better sushi places in the city at this price. Maybe this place has changed post pandemic. I will not be returning.

Great atmosphere, very attentative staff. Went there on a Sunday evening, and really dug the dim-lit atmosphere of the restaurant. They really nailed the Izakaya vibe. When I ordered only non-meat sushi, the waiter asked if I was vegetarian - which I am. After that, he made sure to give me miso soup that did not use fish broth. Really loved that attention.

If you aren’t looking HARD you will miss it and GoogleMaps didn’t help because I walked by it…TWICE. Anyhoo, walking up the stairs bring you to a small but tastefully decorated decor, the Bar, where I pulled up, is L shaped and they have a few tables on their balcony. The sashimi was delicious and the drinks….strong.
If you are in the mood for good sushi head over to Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya. It’s part of the Blue Ribbon family so the freshness of the sushi was expected. Nice spot to chill out at the bar or grab a table. I will be back!

Blue Ribbon Izakaya's fried chicken wings are amazing! They also serve half a fried chicken as well, if that's your thing. Hot sake was also very good here. The spicy tuna roll was okay. Service is excellent. I'd come again for the fried chicken and hot sake.

Went to have a good sushi experience and it was exactly what we got! The food was amazing and beautifully served; the service was wonderful and quick. They have a wide variety of menu and I doubt you can leave this place being hungry. Will gladly be back if happen to be in town again.

They have amazing sushi! The service is great too. I love the SoHo location better but this one is still great! I’m more of a crab person but the raw lobster from the blue ribbon special is so delicious! I recommend this place! It can get super crowded so I’d go on a weekday.

The decor is fantastic! It looks really good. The food was ok but way way way overpriced for the quality and taste! It cost $30 for fried chicken and it wasn’t a family meal :). The sushi was just okay it wasn’t bad but for the cost it’s not really justifiable. Service was just ok. I think
I would just suggest stopping by for drinks but not really for drinks. Way too expensive for what you get.
