If you want inattentive people taking orders and not caring about your food, this is the place for you.
The second time I ordered food from this place some of my order was missing. When I called up to inform them that my food was missing they told me, "I don't know what you want me to do, the cook told me that they put your food in the bag."
Not only did they forget my order, they didn't put any vegetables in my quesadilla, as seen in the photo. Such a waste of time and money!!
There are many responses to provide a customer that is missing their food. However, that is not one of the responses you ever want to hear. With that said, I will never order here again. My money is better spent at establishments that respect my business. Go check out I Am Nacho Mama. They will treat their customers with respect and understand that no one is ever perfect. However, you want to keep your customers satisfied.

Ordered a birria burrito. It was okay-ish. The salsa had good flavor and the consume was not bad. The rest of it didn’t have much flavor though. General impression was grease, mush from the frozen crinkle fries and meh flavor.

This place looked more like a nightclub than a restaurant taqueria didn’t got in because of that, they had security by the door, wanted to dine in but I went to a different place, maybe if it had been busy would had try to go in but I don’t think anyone was there eating or partying

Ordered and picked up 6 minutes away from our hotel an order of chicken tacos (3included) a steak quesadilla(nothing but steak and cheese) and a piece of cake. All was wet, nasty and disgusting. Cake was dripping wet and melting, quesadilla was not one full one... it was half ? Both tacos and quesadilla were soggy, cold and oily . Got a full refund from store after purchase. Unsalvageable food after spending 30 plus dollars.... annoyed is the main feeling. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Didn't put the vegan chorizo in my burrito but did put guacamole even tho it doesn't say there's guacamole and I don't like guac.

I live around the area and come here for my favorite Biria burrito. It's some of the better Biria I've had on LI. The atmosphere is very cool because it becomes a club at night and had lots of tequilas to try. This place has significantly changed since it opened and has become much better with time. My only complaint is the odd hours posted online because I often have a desire for that Biria for lunch or at least an early 5pm dinner. But I often finding myself staying hungry just to wait for it to open rather than go get a lesser biria at somewhere else. So I guess that's a pretty strong recommendation. The staff has always been friendly to me as well.

This place was trash!! If you are black and want to have a good vibe. Don’t even bother!!! It is not worth it. I spend 300$. They played no good music to accommodate the crowd. ???????????????? “ DO NOT COME HERE”

Nelly's cantina style Mexican food is delicious. They have expanded, added a DJ and music to bring a hip vibe to the place. The drinks are full of flavor. The churros and Tacos are a must try. Everything is reasonably priced and quality has been consistent over the years.

I’m a mexican from Texas so my standards for tacos are pretty high. It’s so hard to find something THIS good on LI. I had the birria tacos which were AHH-mazing. Amazing service too. Support small business!

"Great tacos, but today we went with burritos. Ample size. Good ingredients and friendly staff. Mexican blanket seat covers and taqueria metal tables- all good here. They have expanded the menu and are looking to enlarge the dining area too. Three different sauces on a nice little serving tray so someone is thinking. I like that. " From the fall of 2019.
Allow me to readjust this review. They expanded. Nice. Bigger menu. Now it is very confusing. No prices listed except for the sides. We ordered Guac and chips. Didn't recieve them. The receipt is not itemized. My son needed another drink. $4.02 for a lemonade in a 12oz cup? Never again. $48 bill for 5 tacos and three sodas? Save your pesos and find a truck and save 30 bucks.

Only tried 2 variants of the soft taco. They're good, the green sauce packs a lot of heat. I didn't expect it to be that spicy, but that made everything great!

I visited Nelly's today with my wife and loved this place! This place is a local gem for us in Hicksville! We ended up having lunch with a few different tacos and plantina.
1. Great menu
2. Great food
3. Feels fresh & authentic
4. Have beers and margarita
5. Amazing customer service
Very down to earth folks work there and they work hard to ensure every customer is happy everytime!
I ended up walking out without paying for something I added at the end and tried to call back to pay for it but the person there was an absolute gentleman and was extremely - even thou I made the mistake! Thanks again!!
