Just moved into the neighborhood and WOW glad I walked in to Carolyn’s! The chicken was tender melted off the bone, the cornbread was airy and soft…mac and cheese was great. This is probably the best place to get lunch - I got the lunch special…all this food was 7$ !! It was amazing! Would definitely come back. They got themselves a forever repeat customer!! Support local businesses!

It was my first time visiting! Very nice place.. the owner came out to introduce herself.. I got my food to go.. the food is very good!! I will definitely be back ????

My daughters and I ordered last night and they said to give you 5 stars. They loved your chicken strips and I love your mash! It was all yum. Will definitely order again and tell our friends. Oh & the lemonade we loved! The best I've had.

Food was delicious. I had fried chicken mac and cheese and collards, everything was well seasoned and fresh. Order ahead if you are short on time because its made to order but so worth the wait. I found them on a Google search for soul food and now I'm hooked. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu items.

I was craving some soul food so I researched some places in the area. Came across this gem. Went in to dine in and ordered the Mac and cheese roll and the hush puppies. The Mac and cheese roll was bomb dot com and the hush puppies paired well with the sauce. In addition i ordered the potato salad with fried whiting and shrimp. Everything was cooked fresh and made to order. The most enjoyable part of the meal was also having the owner and chef herself Carolyn talk to us and ask us how everything was going. I thought that was wonderful and really a personal touch that other restaurants should also consider doing. Thank you for a great experience will be back :)

I am the owner of a health and wellness company. I hosted a vision board event for small business owners such as myself. I asked Carolyn if I could hold the event there and she was so accommodating. My guests and I enjoyed the use of the space and most importantly we enjoyed the food and her staff were warm and welcoming. My guests were happy so the event was a success. I look forward to doing more events there!

The food was AMAZING!!! Support this wonderful black owned business! The food is made fresh and the service was great! You won’t be disappointed at all. The catfish dinner with Mac and potato salad was on point!!! Lemonade was great too!!!????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

A beautiful hidden gem! The restaurant is so clean and food is made to order. Not only is the restaurant immaculate but the food is delicious! Everything I ordered was so tasty! The owner is so nice and personable, you can tell she puts her heart into her cooking! Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome! The Mac and cheese egg roll was sooooo good. I would come back just for that! Fried chicken was really good. Tasty and perfectly crisp skin. My waffles (had chicken and waffles) were undercooked and couldn't eat them. Food is made to order, so come here with time. No alcohol served.
