The food was absolutely delicious!!! I enjoyed every bite! Have you ever craved something, ate it but it didn't hit the spot? Wellll I had been craving lima beans n baked chicken ordered it, ate it and was EXTREMELY PLEASED ????

Came here for lunch, chicken was really good, tender and juicy but the mac and cheese was amazing! Along with the sweet potatoes, so full of flavor. Definitely will be back

They catered an event at my job and then I referred then for a repass the food is finger licking good!!! Then I had for dinner several times since. Addicted omg !!! Nothing like great service and a clean cooking area!!

I go here every day I am able to literally now this is the best soul food restaurant I’ve came across in crown heights I wish there was table and outdoor seating. As in the food it is always served to your pleasure and delight and especially to your taste and request or recommendations the are always open to. Take a visit you won’t regret it.

Was staying in Brooklyn June 2022 as a tourist to NYC.... This restaurant was in walking distance of my lodging- I saw the good reviews so decided to give them a shot. I was not disappointed! Their food is what I think of when I think soul food; I had the meatloaf, which was cooked to perfection (not dry, but not liquidy), and the Mac & Cheese and collard greens were great too. Will definitely order from here when and if I'm in Brooklyn again!

Let me start by saying this place had good vibes from the start. I felt so welcomed, and to me, that was a huge plus. The food is fantastic and exactly what my soul needed, haha, pun intended. The gentleman who took our order was so pleasant I believe he went by Bull. If you are ever in the area looking for soul food, this is the place! Oh, before I forget, the strawberry cheesecake is to diiiiiie for.

quick and easy. would prefer my collard greens without meat in it, and got one dry piece of chicken, but everything else was delicious.

Great service and the food is super tasty, portions are normal (as they should be) if you want more get extra sides. Collards were A1 and the BBQ chicken were yummy. My only complaint was the banana pudding was watery....
