Amazing little spot with reasonable pricing and some of the best fresh pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Tried their egg and cheese with bacon and it was actually seasoned perfectly, this is so rare and the croissant was buttery and flakey. They have good, fresh pastries as well.

Popular cafe for breakfast and desert. Quiche is excellent! Porch seating is fun!

i’ve been here twice: first time i waited 20 minutes for a spinach empanada & when i asked about it they didn’t even start making it. when i finally got it, the inside was pretty cold & i had to go home to heat it up myself.
the second time i was here i ordered a BLT. if you like BLT’s you know that the bacon isn’t good if it’s chewy/fatty & thats exactly how it was. the coffee is good though..

Cute bakery with great bread and sandwiches. The smell of fresh baking in the morning is always nice. They have good coffee and two tables to sit at inside and a few outside. The pastries are usually high quality and I really like their banana Nutella croissant and the almond croissant.

FYI: there is no bathroom and they.

Had been meaning to come here for years and finally got to check it out this morning. I wish I'd thought to check the online reviews, instead of judging the book by its cover. It always seemed like a pleasant vibe w it's blue exterior and quaint patio on the corner of Central and Starr.

I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and a coffee with oat milk. They charged me 50 cents for adding oat milk to my coffee, which is extremely unorthodox for a coffeeshop to do for a regular coffee order + it's just plain frugal. The ham and cheese croissant was served cold to me 15 mins after I ordered, no explanation or apology. I know this is a tough time for the restaurant industry and service staff are tired and overworked, but as a customer, this was a disappointing experience.

Food wise, despite being cold, the ham and cheese croissant was decent and so was the coffee. Sitting on the patio was as nice as I imagined it would be.

Sadly they are so cheap, they don’t bother covering their baked goods. All day long flies all over their pastries. I’d say go have a slice of pizza across the street. I wish put their budget into good use versus extending the outside sitting area! They also serve baked goods from the day before.. they should be part of “too good to go”. Customers should get fresh baked good with no fly on their empanadas!! ????????????

I came all the way to Brooklyn for this bakery. It said it closes at 5am. Its currently 10:37pm on a Friday night. Its closed. Not cool! Please fix your schedule so future customers won't waste their time making a trip to your bakery.
