Delicious food, great service. The brisket was superb, both alone and on the cheese fries. Pulled pork and rib tips were also good. The only item I found to be mediocre was the Mac n cheese. Delicious pickles as well. I can't think of a better place in LA for traditional BBQ.
Run, don’t walk, to Bludso’s. Everything was perfection. Service was 10/10, food was 11/10. We tried the brisket cheese fries and haven’t been able to stop talking about them for days, lol. This is the best bbq in LA, no contest.

I saw the owner on the news and the meats looked amazing coming out of the smoker.. and definitely lived up to what I saw. I would go back for the meat, greens, and cornbread. The potato salad had dill relish with too much mustard. The Mac and cheese looked delicious but was missing something I had to add salt. The atmosphere was nice and our server Jose was very helpful with our order and patient as well. I would definitely go back. I was raised in the south so I have to remember I'm in a different region.

This place is hands down the tastiest bbq meat in my neighborhood if not LA. Brisket is so tender and perfectly seasoned. The cornbread is from another planet. I’m obsessed with the garden salad. Staffs are super friendly. Justin and Trevor are the best! Love this place!

This was my first time at Bludso's Bar & Que, a friend thought I needed to get to know the place, and I agreed. The ambience is a Bar with wooden tables and benches, very rustic. The staff took into account that I was "new" and explained patiently and in detail the food options. We went with a combination of Pulled Pork, Lean Brisket, and Ribs. Served with Fries and Coleslaw, with a great BBQ sauce (I went with mild, tried spicy and stuck with mild), I ate way too much, but I could not really stop... Yes, soooo good. Even though it's a world away in LA (one hour drive there, 35 min back to Torrance) it is worth it. I will be back.

We had a very good experience here. It was four of us and we all tried different items from the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious, but chicken (half chicken) was the best! Even signature sides were great. The sauces they served with the food were really good as well. Definitely coming back!

This place servers good B.B.Q.
I LOVE ❤ ribs, but I tell you,that chicken ???? is Delicious.
The Mac & Cheese needs help, the flavor is a bit short and it's a little to dry , the greens are good, bit on this trip someone was a little heavy on the salt.
The banana ???? pudding I did not understand but my buddy enjoyed it.
I don't know maybe covid made this location employ bad help because now that I recall the greeter had a bit if a attitude in our server didn't follow far behind, the person that brought us our water was top notch, the ribs, chicken ???????? brisket & smoked sausage were on point.
I will return, there will always be mistakes I get that.

BETTER THAN FRANKLIN'S.
I've traveled across the country and tried most of the "top" BBQ places such as Franklin's, Terry Black's and more.
The quality of the food, the atmosphere of the location, the friendly staff and the AMAZING PRICES push this location to the top of the top as far as I'm concerned!
I have simply never had better bbq in my life and I will be back again and again and again and...
The brisket was perfectly tender and incredibly tasty.
The pork ribs were my favorite, the rub was sweet and savory and tasted so good it didn't even need BBQ sauce!
The BBQ sauce is delicious - hot and mild and are used not as a cover for mediocre food but as a flavor enhancement for DELICIOUS food!

Bludso’s BBQ-Teaxs style BBQ in Los Angeles. One of four I found in my research and the closest to the hotel. Good reviews so we went for it. Food turned out to be real hit and miss. No multi meat platters here. All ala carte/family style. All sides cost $6.50 for half a pint including slaw!! No green beans. Meats were mostly standard issue-brisket lean or fatty, pork ribs, pulled pork, ribs tips, chicken. Also smoked jackfruit and a chicken link. The unique meat on the menu IMO was the beef ribs by half and full rack! And reasonably priced at $17 for a half rack. We see beef ribs other places at upwards of $30 each bone. I think the difference is how they are cut/part of cow. The ribs served here were obviously the same as you would find cut from a prime rib/sold in grocery, beef back ribs. I believe the larger type ribs seen elsewhere are a plate short rib cut from a different section of the steer. I immediately asked if they were out of anything and was told no but he'd check. Came back to tell us that only one beef rib half rack left. Jumped on that immediately.
Waiter suggested just ordering one thing at a time as food came out quickly. Hmmmm. After major missteps in the past when ordering brisket at dinner elsewhere, decided to skip today. Chose to add the quarter rack pork ribs, A portion of slaw, a potato roll, and piece of cornbread. I will say unequivocally that both meats were delicious. Well rendered bark, rub redolent of black pepper possibly too heavy for some really pervasive flavor. Moist, lovely rosy smoke ring, and a heady smoke flavor profile. They use post oak here I believe-should have asked. The meats were delicious without sauce so wasn’t needed but served with two different versions regular and spicy. We were told this after trying and then and both had very nice flavor. We don't do spicy but the one labeled so was not a problem for us. The meat experience here was a solid A. Can't say the same for other items.
Slaw was typical with maybe a bit more black pepper than the majority we've found. I liked it, wife not as much. But no way was it worth $6.50. No chopped cabbage with dressing would be. Normally we might have added say some green beans-n/a-or potato salad but at the price per serving just no way. The potato roll was a potato hamburger bun!! Listed as from a famous Pennsylvania bakery. Not worth it IMO. The cornbread was warm, a nice portion, and served with honey butter. But it was so dry and crumbly that the first bite spread crumbs across a wide portion of my plate. Not enjoyable. Only ate half. I would love to just use an A grade but the drawbacks bring it down to a B minus. They do know what they are doing with the meats, that I’m sure of.
