I loved the name and a friend brought me to it. Great neighboorhood bar and they had pretty much everything I wanted/asked for. Did not eat there and the bathrooms could use an update.

I had one of the worst experience in my last 5 years of living in neighborhood. The lack of customer service and hospitality. Doorman and bartender girl were very aggressive about my complaints and started arguing with me. I hope management will take a note and teach them how to talk to customer in appropriate order.

Overall: A great local neighborhood spot for drinks and dive vibes.
The good: Plenty of TVs, dive-y vibe, shuffleboard, good music, good taps, average prices. Some outdoor seating (not a ton), and close to plenty of Southport restaurants. I've only had food once there and it was years ago, but I remember it being good. Staff is friendly too! Perfect place for a rec league bar (which is how I first found it), and/or to watch sports.
The not so good: Not much. You'll either love it or hate it, and most people I know love it.

I have been going to Toons for a very long time. This is some of the best bar food in the city. The smoked meats, the burgers, the wings are all great. They have daily food specials. There is a definitely a Cajun/New Orleans/Louisiana themed. Great beer and liquor selection. The place is clean and the bathrooms always seem to be recently cleaned. The music that they play add to a great neighborhood bar vibe.

Super friendly staff with good alternative music in the background but not so loud that you cannot converse with those around you. The front is a bar and the back room has the standard bar games including darts and shuffleboard.

What a fun pub!!! Friendly and funny employees, super cool vibe, all the beers and liquors one person could need. Shuffle board and billiards! The chicken tenders and onion rings are delish!

A casual and delightful atmosphere with room for escalating parties. Shuffleboard table, billiards, and arcade games. Friendly staff and good atmosphere for most types of conversation and revelry. Prices are fair and selection is plentiful. They even support a local sporting social scene which enhances the ambiance and energy of the bar. Good place.
