If you visit this place and don’t order a burger you’re doing yourself a huge disservice. The burgers are the best I’ve ever had. Amazing.

Going there today with my son brought back a lot of memories the place still looks the same and the food was delicious !! The burger was just right and the wings were fantastic, the fries were just right !
And the lady that took her order was very nice and friendly and so was to cook!
A very great compliments to the Cook !

Food was under cooked. Then I seen cook kept blowing his nose and not cleaning his hands afterwards. We did not finish our food.. This place used to be good and now fell way down.. I would not recommend to eat here.. Beer from tap tasted horrible.

Went for a late lunch so it was kinda empty but the waiter/bartender was pretty cool. Attentive and the food was really good! Huge portion and the price was reasonable. Place was clean but a bit dim. Parking is limited and the road is bad (steep with potholes).

Visiting ALL THE WAY from San Antonio TX and we (My Husband and I ) wanted something other than pizzas on our last day here.
Came across this place on google being in the area and decided to stop in and check the place out.
The bartender who also was our server was very personable and attentive to our needs. I hate that I forgot her name but she has short blonde hair and she rocked.
The burgers and fries we ordered were ON POINT and fulfilling. Everything was made fresh (Burgers were juicy ????.) This was definitely a good find. And we will be back.

Although the place is small it is cozy, there are several television sets for game days. The food is very good and well proportioned for an affordable price and also includes a kids menu and they have domestic and imported beer and strong liquors

Their burgers are supreme! I heard their wings are to die for, but their onion rings rings were cooked with phenomenal breading, and the customer service was unparalleled. The nicest and most chill place to have a basic bite to eat!

They have 1 lb burgers and they are super juicy and very flavorful. Their fries and mozzarella sticks have such a nice golden color and the best Crispy crunch when you bite into them. 10/10 recommend

So disappointed!!! Both of us ordered the big cheeseburger, medium. Both burgers came very well, overcooked. Just horrible. Fries were extremely dark brown. Asked the bartender who took our order, about this. He smiled & said yeah, you are right, looks like the cook left em in too long. He didn't offer to cook a fresh batch of fries nor did he offer to remove the cost of fries off the check. The onion rings were very good & an acceptable portion. Bar was clean. Very busy traffic neighborhood but we found a parking spot. Heard about the excellent burgers this bar was supposed to have from a food critic. Maybe the grill man was having a bad day. We tipped 20%. The bartender provided bar soda & refill. Maybe a great neighborhood bar but skip the food.

Amazing burger and awesome service. Highly recommend Illinois Bar & Grill if you are visiting Chicago and/or live in the area. The flavor is simply perfect. Everything is freshly cooked and for that reason the wait time might be slightly longer.. In the meantime I highly recommend enjoying a nice cold Modelo draft beer and some appetizers before getting your tasty burger. This place is my go to when I’m in the mood for a charcoal bacon burger!
