Ordered the burnt ends platter because I thought there would be a ton of meat you know, considering it’s 23.99. Whatever amount of meat I got couldn’t have been more than what they serve u in the appetizer, which is half the price!?!? So you’re telling me I paid $12+ for two small a*# sides and a piece of cornbread?!?! Highly disappointed
Edit: I understand the Grubhub up charge but it’s also listed on Google as $23.99. Also with no dine in and without the ability to drive there, I will always have to pay that ridiculous price for such a small order. Oh well, I’ll just stick to the other bbq joints in the area. I appreciate the owner reaching out tho. I’ll give an extra star for that
Ordered on Easter Sunday and food was thee worst ever didn't even give us all our food can't even call to complain no number corn bread was burned meat was dry chicken wasn't cook all the way thru terrible

Incredibly inconsistent place. I've ordered here 3 times. First time my rib tips were great! Good chat, moist, flavorful. Next two orders dry, barely smoked and cold.
What's the point of having a franchise of not to deliver consistent quality. I'm done with this place. There are much better local options.

The food is good, but the menu is inaccurate and getting a hold of someone with an issue is impossible. This is a carry-out/delivery location only and I ordered directly from the Famous Dave's website, the staff seem to work with multiple restaurants and kitchens in the building and so they can't help with order issues/refunds if you order directly through Famous Dave's (I hate to use Groupon, but at least they will help to correct problems). This was my experience at the beginning of October which I have not received a response:
We ordered the bread pudding which is advertised to come with vanilla ice cream however none was provided. When I asked about it I was told "it doesn't come with ice cream" and the lady confirmed it with a coworker despite the website menu saying otherwise. They were unable to assist me further and said I had to contact Famous Dave's directly with my issue and so I tried calling the number listed on the receipt specifically for order issues three times but no one picked up and after ringing for a bit led me to a voicemail, so I then submitted a form through Famous Dave's website directly and have not heard back. I was just asking for a partial refund on that one item since I did not receive the item as advertised which I think is reasonable.
The bread pudding as of today still uses this description: "Melt-in-your-mouth, scratch-made, bread pudding, and pecan praline sauce, served with vanilla ice cream." yet I tried contacting them on 10/1 so I wonder how many other people have had inaccurate orders.
I had a previous order through them which was without issue, but Chicago has plenty of other great BBQ spots and this location is just not worth the hassle of trying to fix an order if something goes wrong.

I get that sometimes you are out of stuff, I work in a restaurant too. But if you use GrubHub your staff should know that you need to mark it on the order on the tablet.
Instead they just sent us my partners meal and crossed out mine and said "no salmon". So now I have to spend 30 min on hold with GH to get a refund and was not notified until the food got here. (I would have ordered something else or ordered from elsewhere and at least been able to eat at a reasonable hour.) Marking it as missing on the GH tablet would have taken someone two seconds, and the item would automatically be 86ed.
It just shows little care for the customer, kind of an f-you really. Very disappointing.

I would guess a lot of these issues are related to the delivery service. I ordered through OLO and picked up my food and the portions were great and the food was hot and delicious.

UPDATE - email provided from owner bounced back.
I had no idea this wasn't an actual restaurant location. I should've read the reviews first before wasting time and money. The food tastes microwaved and dry. I tried to call to get a refund but no answer. Looks like the owner is responding to other reviews with an email. Going to try that and see if we get a response because this is so disappointing.

Food was ok, but didn't give any sauces with the wings. Which kinda ruin the wings all together. Beef brisket was overcooked and chewy. Fries and BBQ chicken were good. Pretty disappointed.

After 2 more experiences, I had to delete and resubmit my review. I've ordered wings the last couple of times I've ordered and they were dry; lacked sauce and were over cooked. Not only that, but I was missing wings! How does that happen?! I ordered a dozen wings both times and got 8 one time and 10 the other. Why? Check your food! First time I ordered fries they were amazing. Fresh, hot, and salted to perfection. Next 2 times, dry and cold. Idk. It's hit or miss at this point, emphasis on the miss.
