The coffee was decent. I asked for half and half and the woman at the counter told me they only had milk because half and half was too expensive for them to purchase.
I probably won’t go again unless I bring my own half and half.

Awesome little coffee shop! They had just about every drink under the sun. I wanted a matcha latte, but they were fresh out of matcha, so I went with a (vegan) chai latte. We also got a jasmine tea. Both were wonderful and the staff were very friendly.

Love this place. Local cafe with a full bar and light bites. Amazing service from a friendly staff and in house roasted coffee. Definitely recommend any time of day. UPDATE: 7/2022 still excellent with an amazing staff. Plenty of outdoor seating

Best coffee I had in Chicago hands down ( it was latte). They roast their own coffee and the baristas knew what they were doing unlike many other places I been too here in Chicago. Highly recommend if u want the perfect cup of coffee. Also the Vibes are nice and chill inside.

Good coffee, great service and vibe. Wifi is available if you ask, and the indoor and patio seating are both nice places to just chill, read, and enjoy a pastry. Bombastic was my go-to coffee joint when I lived nearby, and their beans are always good (and available for purchase to take home a bag).

Cool vibe and good coffee. I'd just recommend you update the photos on the website showing the menu. I came here from a google search since I was in the neighborhood, after skipping some (apparently) higher-priced places. Then got here and the $3.00 drip coffee was like $4.50, coming to $5.26 w tax. Charge whatever you like (though I think that's crazy high for drip coffee even if you roast it here)... just update your pricing online. As well as on the menu board. Because it was blank, I had no reason to think prices had changed from what was posted. You just don't people disappointed or feeling misguided.

Super sweet and kind service. Nice place too to drink, eat and work (noticed couple of students studying). I got the lavender honey oat latte and the vegan brownie and it was very good. Can’t wait to go back to bombastic cafe on my next trip to Chicago

So glad I popped in here while waiting on my car being serviced around the corner(ish) at Ashland Tire. Great selection of really creative beverage options, super friendly staff, and nice space with local art. Love that they have fun cocktails in addition to traditional coffee goodness. My chai latte was delightful! Definitely a keeper!

My group and I we’re looking for a coffee spot as a midday pick me up before heading back to the suburbs and this cute cafe came up nearby. It was a group of 8 of us celebrating my birthday and as we walked in Giuseppe asked us what the occasion was. It was my birthday and they immediately said my drink was on the house. I wasn’t expecting that but it was such a kind gesture!!
They made me whiskey cold brew and it was delicious!!! They even gave me a leftover shot of whiskey and played “happy birthday” on their speakers & had the whole place sing me happy birthday. What a wonderful experience! All my friends had such a great time and Giuseppe took a cute group pic of us before we left!
Thank you Kyle, Leonardo, and Giuseppe for making me feel so special. We hope to visit back the next time we are in the city!!

Lovely cafe in the Southport Corridor! They have a really nice coffee selection AND non-dairy milks (which is always a plus). We stopped in on a whim one evening to grab a cup of coffee to help warm up our hands while out for a walk. I got a latte with oat milk! Yum!
They even have a full bar that you can spike your coffee with!!
I look forward to visiting again post-pandemic when I can spend some more time inside and relax. Definitely glad Bombastic is part of the neighborhood.
