From out of town so we had to compare restaurant flavors. Bbq King did not disappoint. Typical small Chinese BBQ restaurant with big flavors! Food came out relatively fast, service is your typical elder Asian service so don't expect anything more. Duck as very good. Pork was seasoned well and had good crunch. Chicken wings looked good but weren't as good as we thought. All in all it is very good restaurant (better than the #1 recommended)

Not the best Chinese food. Had dinner inside, zero atmosphere. Extensive menu, maybe that's part of the food problem. Two other guests with me may rate this business lower based on same observations. Ordered a Sprite with my meal and It was barely cool (in a can, no glass/cup). Business seemed mainly take-out. Wouldn't recommend to friends.

Always enjoy going to Chicago Chinatown. A good place for bbq pork and roasted pork belly and roasted duck. We always come by for dine-in and take out.

Best bbq & roast of anything in the Chicagoland region! Stop by for dinner and ordered the simple 2 choice of bbq (bbq pork & soya chicken) over rice. Other choices could be roast pork, roast duck...ect..but I always grab a couple lbs of meat to take home to eat with rice & noodles. If your ever in Chinatown, Chicago ..you need to stop by here and get some. No disapointments EVER!

Clean place with reasonable prices . Average service. Flavorful ,perfectly cooked beef with Chinese broccoli. The Chinese broccoli wasn’t over cooked and still have a little crunch! Little one loves the beef lo-Mien. The lo-mein noodle was soft, chewy, but not hard . The beef in both dishes have the same seasoning. The chicken was good with the green onion dipping! Even the chicken breast was juicy. The chicken With or with out the dipping was flavorful to me . Can’t wait to return .

This place is legit. The food tastes authentic and delicious. The duck is extremely succulent. The other dishes we tried were good very scrumptious. The staff were friendly which is always a plus. And on top of that, the prices were not outrageously high as you might have come to expect from Chicago restaurants. We did family style on a recent dine in and our group ended up paying $20 per person including tax and tip, and we were even able to take some food home.
On top of that, it's right in Chinatown so you could walk to a Boba shop or dessert place right after.

We came in and got the Peking Duck Dinner which includes the duck buns, duck bone broth, fried shrimp with heads on, and veggies with shredded duck. All of this was only about $50 (for seemingly the whole duck) and for our party of three, we took home leftovers. The Peking duck buns were the BEST I've ever had - the actual bun was so light and was not dense like most other places; perfect ratio of incredibly crispy skin/meat to bun. Will definitely come back wherever we're in town!

I got half a duck ($13.50) and 1lb of roast pork ($12). Both are delicious generous portion. I do prefer the roast pork over the duck but I would def come here again and I'd recommend you to try it too!

The duck feast still worth the trip. 5 ⭐️ One of the last traditional flavor HK bbq house with the right combo for the duck meal ????
Our fav add on is always the egg yolk bitter melon, the most distasteful add on was the beef and tendon with daikon 萝卜牛腩. Urgh for a Cantonese house, it was atrocious. ????

Cantonese style BBQ, we are their regular customer; last weekend , we made a big order from them for our party. During and after party, almost every our guest ask where we make order and this place’s name/address. More convenient, They open early , so be there around 10:30 you will be avoided china town parking problem as well!

Congratulations! If you are reading this it means that you have found one of the best meals in Chicago! I would highly recommend ordering the Peking duck dinner from BBQ king.
For real though - you will not be disappointed with The Peking duck dinner.
Comes with so much food. The staff is very attentive and kind. I’ve had this dinner probably six times. The duck is cooked perfectly. I love the variety that comes with the dinner package – crispy duck, sautéed duck, duck soup, fried shrimp.
TIP: The standard Peking duck dinner is enough food for two people to feel stuffed.
