A K-Town institution! Coming here late at night was a great idea after the TWICE concert. I ordered the beef neck soup, and the pieces of beef were nice and juicy, and full of gelatin. Now, they provide scallion and salt in small sauce containers, so you have to ask for more if you need it.

The quality and the service was impeccable. It seems like there’s always a long line because it is SO popular. We got the most popular thing they sell - galbi jjim with cheese on it. There was ttoekboki in it and it was DELICIOUS. The food was very very good. Highly recommend coming here to try if you’re looking for a place in koreatown to eat but can’t decide. It was a bit on the pricier side so definitely have a budget when coming here!

The meat is really good but the price is really high $80 for a medium is pretty crazy priced compared to others at $55-60. Even though we waited for 45 minutes, I felt very rushed to eat and leave. They didn’t even serve soju because they wanted to turn over tables instead of letting people enjoy. The guy in charge definitely was rushing people and not in a great mood

Very delicious, we ordered the spicy beef stu with rice cakes and cheese. It was so satisfy.
Big portion for 4 people. It's the "must have" dish that we always get every time.

Hands down the best Korean food I had in the US! Highly recommend Galbi Jjim and the rice cake soup. Note that the portion is not small so don’t order too much…

A popular place yet a bit tiny. This place is always with a long line. Nice place with good food. Old name with good reputation.

Parking is difficult unless you use valet. Many customers seem Chinese speaking and many Koreans as well.

To be able to survive here, you gotta be good. This is good.

The wait was around an hour long (probably because it's the weekend of Anime Expo right now) at 8pm and the crowd was even bigger after we finished eating. The food was really good though. I definitely recommend the galbi jjim with cheese and rice cakes if you have around 5 people for a large. For soups, the galbi tang and oxtail soup with beef brisket were both really good. I recommend the galbi tang more if you are looking for a more flavorful soup.

This place is good and clean and very generous in servings! Valet parking is available for $2. Ordered for to-go and they packed it very well. Staff are friendly but needs more improvement when it comes to customer service.

When I came into this place, I was as lost as a Latino in the middle of Koreatown... mostly because... well, that's exactly what the situation was :D. Thankfully, I wasn't alone. I brought a Korean American friend with me and let me tell you, this place is as authentic as it gets. The Galbi jjim (short ribs with cheese) was the main star of the show. It was too much food for just two dudes, so me and my friend just decided to get the Galbi Tang (beef short rib soup), and the Chadol Sulung Tang (ox bone soup), but as luck and divine grace and favor would have it, right next to us, a group of three sat and they ordered the Galbi jjim and as they randomly made small talk with us, they offered us a bit. My friend declined it but being the shameless extrovert that I am, I took them up on their offer and helped myself to a small short rib. That small piece of heaven convinced me that I should be back to this place sometime in the future (hopefully with a larger group so that we can actually order the Galbi Tang myself and we can all enjoy it with gusto!). Our food was also amazing and the purple (or brown?) rice with some of the added kimchi is truly amazing. Highly recommended place!

Parking is an unconditional valet service. Parking fee is $3. The food is sweet. There are a lot of customers on the weekends, so waiting is a must. There is a breakfast discount menu.
