I have ate at this particular restaurant and it's not bad but also not good. Mainly I noticed that the carne asada seemed to burned or probably cooked again from the previous day. I will just go to el taurinos even though it's more expensive.

I grew up in Echo Park. In the valley now....glad to see this place is still in business and not another coffee or thrift shop.

This place has been here for years...I grew up in this neighborhood.. this place may not look like much but food wise this place is the spot to get your grub on.... had to update it... this last visit was more enjoyable than the last don't know if I missed the food or it got better either way its the place to go in silverlake

My family and I have been going to Marielas since year 2000 and keep on going when we are in town, everything on their menu is great to eat and their fruit drinks are satisfying, don’t take my word for it you need to try it yourself from a long time customer, you won’t regret it.????

They accept credit cards now that's new.
There's also a marielas # 1 on 3rd & Catalina .. foods the same only location size varies

My partner and I came here for burritos. He got the carnitas and I got the carne asada. Between the two, we liked the carne asada better. With a green sauce it was definitely tasty! It's a place I would definitely get to go over dine in, since the ambiance isn't amazing. But the food is solid.

Little expensive the cocido $ 11.00
Tortillas really bad , it used to be much better flavor, I'm a customer since 1990 I won't buy cocido anymore.
