Hands down the best boba I’ve tried in my life. The boba was nice and soft, not hard and stall like other places. The milk tea was not overly sweet and actually had a nice tea taste to it, which I know sounds weird putting it like that, but the other boba places ive had just tasked like syrupy and over sweetened liquid. The inside had a nice and modern vibe to it, and thr workers were very nice, one of them even offered me a free sample of their fried chicken, which was delicious. Overall, if you’re looking for a good boba place in the LA area, you’re in luck, because Cup O’ Joy has your back.

May be joy here but not for everyone. Came here to get something to eat. After I paid a woman ( most likely the owner). Told me I could not have my own drink in her store. I would have bought my drink from her but already had it before I noticed this shop. It is 108 degrees outside these days. I stayed but will never come back again. She was itching to tell me to leave the moment she saw me and my African-American self.

I love this boba spot! It’s a little pricey but it’s good! I always get their Thai tea and popcorn chicken with the siracha sauce. Soooo delicious!!

This is my favorite Boba place…. and I drink A LOT of Boba. The teas themselves are exceptional and are made from very high quality leaves. If you want a treat, I would highly recommend the Sea Salt Cream Oolong. The sea salt cream is not cheesy like most other Boba places (I’m not a fan of cheese in tea). The staff are super friendly, and service is fast. My husband and I have been coming here almost every week for 2 years, and I will miss this place and the staff now that we are moving away.

Put too many food in the small food container, that makes food get less dry, especially popcorn chicken. And paper box container is easily open, doesn’t feel hygiene. Hope can improve food package design soon. Green tea is too sweet

So far everything I’ve tried is good. I disliked boba forever but this place triggered me into liking boba. My girlfriend and I shared a hazelnut milk tea boba which was delicious and very sweeet in a good way and you can taste the nice subtle tea flavor. I have tried a vanilla/strawberry milkshake flavor which was so soft and creamy it was too good. I like how they push you to try and mix flavors together. The food they sell there is also very good. I can only speak for their chicken tender and fries it’s ata high price but you get a hefty amount.

Fantastic service, great food, and clean bathrooms. The lady sold us on trying the chicken special, and it was very good. I will be back based on the terrific experience. The cookies and cream shake made with real ice cream was delicious.

My friend and I walked here from the Science Center nearby. When we walked inside we were greeted by a young man behind the register. He was very nice and gave us excellent customer service. The boba was delicious. If I'm in the area I would come back to Cup O' Joy.

This place is always AMAZING ! The staff always say "Welcome " when we come in. They are super friendly ! The DRINKS are so GOOD!
They have milk shakes, slushies, teas, milk teas.
They have a rewards program for those who come here often. It gets really packed Friday and Saturday nights, so I wouldn't really recommend it when it chaotic because the staff may miss something in your order but other than that...this place is great!
Boyfriend and I love coming here on a date.
I always love trying something new every time.

Servers are friendly and explain the drink if you don’t know what your getting. Really nice and their tip jar is creative. They also serve for birthday party’s.
