Salvadorian food. Really great food. Do try the hot chocolate.

Food was great, but service is terrible and sooooooo slow. The place is tiny. They only had one other table when we arrive and quite a few people working, but it took forever to have our order taken and for the drinks and food to come out.
It seems like they have a lot of to-go orders though, and maybe those take priority? I’m not sure what the situation is.

Tasteful, yumminess that has you drooling til they bring you your food. I've only gotten Pupusas here, even back when they used to be 1.75! Now they're up to 3 something. But, they are still frkn good. Totally recommend.

I cannot tell you much about the rest of the menu because the only thing I have we're pupusas and they were pretty good however what really stood out for me was there hot chocolate Salvadorian Style "no milk" that's got to be the best hot chocolate I've had in a long time

The Cojutepueque Restaurant, is a somewhat good restaurant. The waitress did a good job, however the food is okay. The caldo de pata needed more spices and more meat. Also the vegetables shouldn't be cut in small pieces. The pupusas tasted good though. For me it's 3/2 rating.

Recently started working in this area, and was craving pupusas during one of my lunch breaks. Found this gem near by. I had the bean and cheese pupusa and wow, it hit the spot! This will be on top of my list when I'm craving pupusas for lunch!

Looks like they were understaffed (makes sense) but still one person taking all orders, online, phone, and in-person she was over worked and it showed in her service
The food was gross Asada was too tough
The Salvadoran Plate was just nasty
And their Horchata also gross I threw it away after one sip.

This is the place to get authentic Salvadoran food in Los Angeles. The Salvadoran dish that most people are aware of are pupusas, a thick tortilla that is usually stuffed with cheese, beans, meat, or loroco, a vine with edible flowers. It was very good.
The traditional foods consist of a mix of Native American cuisine from the indigenous groups Lenca, Pipil, Xinca, Poqomam, Maya Chʼortiʼ, Alaguilac, Mixe, Mangue, and Cacaopera; with later influences from Spanish cuisine after the Conquest of El Salvador.

Nice costumer service, easy parking when is not crowded, right in the corner they even have parking in the back food was good, but when I order my pupusas and huevos con frijoles I found out that frijoles are not original Salvadorean frijoles, instead they use friojoles pintos so they make it more like a Mexican restaurant in order to be original Salvadorean they need to use Salvadorean beans.
