Bulgogi Hut Reviews

Overall Rating

For an all you can eat place, the service was very good. The server attended our table at the time when we needed to order or change grills. For food, there are 3 levels you can choose from, we picked the most expensive one $42.99 or something, but the options are not too much better than other places’ $32. And for food I recommend squids and short ribs. Another plus is there is parking available in the back of the restaurant.

This is definitely one of the most expensive all you can eat Korean barbecue places that I’ve been to before. I will structure this review on a timeline from my arrival to my departure.

First of all, they have parking at the back of the building which is validated for up to four hours if you eat at this restaurant. That makes it super easy to park here during the day, however at night time you can also just park at any of the meters as it is free after 6 PM.

We came as a group of seven, and outside the restaurant they have an iPad where you can join the waitlist for the restaurant. Wait times are not bad at all. It took us about 10 minutes before we were seated.

As soon as we were seated, staff came to ask us what we wanted to order. The one issue I had was that at the beginning, staff were taking incredibly long to come bring us water as well as our first round of meat.

We decided on the premium all-you-can-eat option which is at a pricey $48. They have a normal deluxe option that is at a more reasonable $36. However, if you want galbi, you’ll have to shell out for the higher price.

We got a ton of meats including galbi, pork belly, beef brisket, beef belly, boneless short rib, rib fingers, beef tongue, and their deluxe steak.

All of the meats were excellent, however the brisket, beef belly, and galbi were the stars of the show.

We also got a ton of banchan (side dishes) including macaroni salad, radish wraps, rice paper wraps, jasmine rice, kimchi, spicy cucumber, salad, onions, garlic, and jalapeños.

For the sauces, they gave us a sweet sauce, assessment oil, and a spicy sauce. Make sure to ask for salt because you need to add that into your sesame oil. Sesame oil plus salt is the best dipping sauce there is in my opinion.

We ate to our hearts’ content. Here, they let you order for up to two hours, which is much more than the usual 90 minutes at most other KBBQ restaurants.

In the end, we spent about $60 per person after tax and tip. It was definitely a pricey experience but really excellent in terms of the taste!

An Adventure in Food. Place is Always Busy. It is worth the wait. Delectable menu choices, served with precision and timeliness. No Frills atmosphere, it's all about the meats here and it shows. ????

Absolutely amazed. I've never had Korean BBQ, this was so good. For 14.99 + tax I got a plate of Bulgogi along with an assortment of side, all of which tasted absolutely amazing.

My waiter was super friendly and explained what everything was. Aside from the paper plates (which is unnecessarily wasteful), I couldn't ask for s better experience.

Great selection of meat, Iive this place. Great service and amazing sides. Can feel a bit pricey but it is worth every dollar. Can't wait to go back.

Didn't come here for AYCE - we ordered by entrees. Proceed if you're planning on only ordering entrees:

Overall the food was good, but it wasn't bomb. Given we're in K-Town, Bulgogi Hut tastes very average.

We got beef bulgogi ssambaps, hot & spicy pork bento box, and whole fried korean fried chicken (sweet chili & soy garlic). It was definitely yummy, but there are much better korean bbq & korean fried chicken places in the area.

The wait is about 15-20 minutes, which this place doesn't warrant. The flavor and overall atmosphere doesn't feel like authentic Korean. However, the service is great with a very attentive staff. They also have a parking lot that's validated, which is nice. Last but not least, the value is where it's worth it. All the food ordered for 2 can comfortably feed 3. Expect to pay $35-40 with drinks and be stuffed! You can get away with $20-25 if you order more reasonably haha.

Unfortunately, I will not be coming back due to other & better options in K-Town/ Los Angeles.

Everything was incredible. Bulgogi was the best and the spicy tofu soup was really good as well. On the premium menu the steak comes cooked already and it was a little over cooked but still good. Would definitely come back, for 5 people it was $250 so about 50 per person.

We went there to have our lunch. Their serving for Bento Box is just right. It was good. Would probably come back again.

This is a perfect place to take your friend for their birthday or if you're just wanting a change in your dining experience. There are different prices menus and all of the meat is so delicious. The best part is it is all you can eat and you cook the meat yourself at your table. I highly suggest the Louisiana sausage and hot and spicy pork. They taste the best in my opinion. Also ask for meats that have already been marinated. They even have exotic meats like cow tongue! It can be a bit pricey so be prepared to pay at least $50 per person, but it is worth the price. Also, I suggest to eat mainly the beef and pork because they taste the best.
