On Saturday I went for a walk to bloom and plume and passed two other coffee shops before arriving. I must say I’m glad I did. The vibe in this place was ????. The staff was so friendly…it’s rare to see these days. My vanilla latte was beyond flavorful. I will definitely make this my weekend habit.

I stopped by Bloom & Plume one day and was impressed by the funky, colorful decor of the shop. There is even a mini photography exhibition inside the shop and it was definitely worth checking out close up.

The flat white was excellent, price was fair and the staff was friendly. There are a few small tables in the porch and outside on the sidewalk.

Coffee is ok and they don’t have wifi. Most of the table are outside in the blazing sun without cover.

Employees were patient with our family and felt inclusive, friendly, energized to greet customers. First time trying today, coffee drinks on 'Special Guest' Menu are worth trying as well as usuals on regular menu. Some merchandise and apparel on side walls stand out and are appealing to aesthetic. Only things are, no good side curb parking nearby and shaded seating if you hang out. Otherwise, nice cafe find in L.A. along Historic Filipinotown sign exit. Thanks again, guys ????????☕️????????????????

This was the best latte I've had in a long time. If I was a coffee connoisseur I could maybe do it justice, but the espresso had such depth of flavor. Really a delightful way to start the day

Was excited to check out this cafe created by the florist next door by the same name. Ironically didn’t see much plantlife within but the facade has a beautiful trailing canopy of greens and the flowers on the tables are all real mini arrangements which I thought was a really nice touch.

The vibe is hard to place in here. It feels very Y2K meets upscale meets WeHo. The cafe is adorned with all kinds of flashy neon merch and beans to take home. The fixtures feel retro modern.

As far as the coffee goes there’s very little in terms of signature drinks that are not already signature to many cafes in the city. Honey Lavender and the Chagaccino have become mainstays in L.A. and are hardly new. The Butterflypea Latte seemed interesting but I wasn’t in the mood for soemthing that was matcha-like.

So I went with the Honey Lavender just to see how it stacks up against others in the surrounding neighborhoods (it’s becoming a measure of quality these days). The coffee was strong, and at least the lavender didn’t overpower the overall drink. Could have used a bit more honey for balance though.

My companion got the Flat White. I’m not familiar with those but it was rather bitter as it was not sweetened and the intensity of the grind was very evident.

Luckily we got some donuts as well. Both sweet to varying degrees but helped take the edge off the coffee’s strength.

Overall not bad if you want to avoid any of the chain cafes in the area. It’s in an odd part of the neighborhood so you get little foot traffic. And sadly you have to sit on the slanting sidewalk with no indoor seating as of yet. I personally don’t like sitting out that far near the street. Too many distractions to focus on conversation. But that’s a me thing. Many people in LA love it cause they want to be seen and this is perfect for them.

this place has amazing drinks and treats with a lot of original flavors. it is beautifully decorated. we tried the Dutch latte (requested lightly sweetened), Tiramisu latte, milk tea, and a hot latte along with an almond croissant and hazelnut chocolate slice. will recommend everything we have tried so far

subpar oat milk latte, just nothing really special. wouldn’t pay $6.40 for it again. the vegan erin mckenna samoa donut was yummy! overall, not disappointing so much as meh. wouldn’t go out of my way, but if in the neighborhood might grab a donut again.

Went to try their brewed coffee. Taste good. Ambiance is nice. Well lighted and clean. Decor is appropriate with a twist. some items for sale (kinda expensive). Friendly staff. Didn't find a place to sit. There's a short line when we ordered. By the way, this shop is very close to Echo Park Tennis Courts. Will come back.
