This is a restaurant with driving one hour just to have dinner there. Amazing authentic food. Small, get a reservation. Unpretentious, so it may look a simple bite, but it’s not at all. Amazing Peruvian flavor every dish.

The food was to die for! Amazing, I have no idea how they can make the food this good! I loved the tropical ceviche but I don't think you can go wrong with anything.

No non sense Peruvian restaurant on busy Washington Blvd. review is for a to go order of mixed ceviche.

Amazingly fresh and flavorful packed with scallops, baby octopus, fish and topped with two fried shrimp. Best ceviche I’ve had in years, but not cheap coming in at $30.52 after tax.

Ordered the pescado macho. Very tasty. It did need a bit more of salt. Aji wasn't spicy. Could taste alot of cilantro? But over all food was worth the price

Pretty great Peruvian food here at Lonzo's, especially the plating on the ceviche! The Poor Man's steak was wonderful and tender. The ceviche was also pretty good. The flavor for the Osso Buco Seco was ok and could be more tender if they cooked it longer.

I thought they had food quality of their mains and appetizers. I did the seafood saltado as a variant. I don't think it works with shells. I would've preferred everything peeled since saltado is not a hands-on dish.

Actually the best thing I had isn't pictured: their passion fruit tart. Get their baked goods for dessert. I found out later they used to be a bakery. That is their heart, I think. They make good food and great dessert. It's the dessert, the baking, that is the fourth star.

Some of the best Peruvian food I have ever had. Amazing menu with all kinds of options. The ceviche was out of this world! The meats were all super tender. This place is definitely a must see.

We ordered Pollo Salado, Poor man Steak, and Salmon Tiradito. Both the chicken and beef dishes were great, with nicely cooked meat. Both dishes had large fries, rice topped with sunny side up eggs, and veggies (Salado) or salad and fried plantain (Poor man). The big disappointment was the Tiradito, which was tasty but only a few bites as an appetizer for the same price as the Salado. I would have thought the waitress would have said that it's only an appetizer. So I went home and had leftover pizza but the rest of my family was full. For this, I deducted a star.
Overall, basic outdoor ambience with gas heaters (but the inside didn't look inviting), quick friendly service, no alcohol permit but several tables BYOB, need to call a day ahead for pisco sour. Had one juice as well. Meal for two and half persons $85. BTW, the restaurant uses different menus than the ones shown here.

This was some of the best Peruvian cuisine I’ve had since visiting Peru years ago (and that includes Michelin starred Peruvian in London). The flavor profiles were spot on, from the tiradito to the causa and arroz con mariscos. The presentation was spectacular for such a nondescript, humble spot.

I would 100% recommend and will be back next time I’m in LA!

Love this place. Amazing food and the service is always friendly and fast. Seafood rice and oysters are my favorite but I haven't had a bad dish here. Everything is delicious.
